Rullein sat beside Rasmus, her eyes blank when she stared at the wall behind Aris. She was spacing out and Aris noticed when she stared into Rullein's eyes that they seemed blank. Aris narrowed her eyes slightly, releasing her energy and that was enough to snap Rullein back to reality. When their eyes met, the way Aris stared at her was like a scalpel that tried to dissect her to find the problem.
"(You have been spacing out the whole journey. You slept a lot as well, almost concerning)" Rasmus spoke with his thoughts, knowing that he could speak with Rullein with his thoughts because her core was in his body, already one with his existence.
"(I'm fine... I just feel like I'm in peace when not doing anything or think of anything)" Rullein responded as she kept staring at the spot on the wall behind Aris.
"(Since when?)" Rasmus glanced out the window of the carriage, staring at the dried land and sand crevasses in the distance.
