Chapter 32 I Have to Control That Power!
What Yoruha didn't know was that the Chakra inside him was entirely Natural Energy, and it was bound to his consciousness.
His Chakra was conscious.
But right now, he still didn't understand any of that, so he had no way to control it skillfully.
Still, his Chakra and speed had doubled again tonight, so Yoruha was quite happy.
"My Chakra has already reached Kakashi's level now. I'm still a bit behind in speed, but I probably won't need much longer before I can match him too."
"My Chakra is different from ordinary Chakra. Next I need to figure out exactly what's going on with it. If I can't get this surging Chakra under control, then it won't matter how much more it grows."
Yoruha had no desire to see a repeat of what happened last night.
"I wonder how the village reacted after I made such a huge commotion."

He slept until early the next morning.
The instant his awareness returned, he opened his eyes.
As soon as he did, he saw Kakashi leaning against the windowsill, reading a novel.
Yoruha sat up and looked at Kakashi. "Kakashi-sensei, did the village's ninja find out about what happened last night?"
That was what concerned Yoruha most.
Kakashi looked at him and smiled. "You woke up pretty fast. I thought you'd be bedridden for a few days."
Kakashi was a little surprised. Yoruha had exhausted his Chakra last night.
For a ninja, that kind of situation was extremely dangerous.
In lighter cases, they would be bedridden for a few days. In severe ones, they could even die.
Yoruha rubbed his head and said, "My head's a little foggy. What exactly happened last night?"
"You don't remember what happened last night?" Kakashi asked in confusion.
Yoruha shook his head. "I only remember that I had just gathered Chakra, and right when I was about to form 'Chidori,' my Chakra went chaotic. After that, I lost consciousness."
Kakashi frowned. "So even you don't remember? Last night, you released a ninjutsu comparable in power to a Tailed Beast Ball."
Yoruha froze. "A Tailed Beast Ball?"
Seeing Yoruha go blank, Kakashi assumed he didn't know what that was.
So he explained, "A Tailed Beast Ball is a spherical mass of Chakra condensed by a Tailed Beast. Its power is extremely great—one shot can blow apart an entire mountain."
"The ninjutsu you released last night was about as powerful as a Tailed Beast Ball. Luckily, we were training in the back mountain."
"If you had released a ninjutsu like that in the residential part of the village, you wouldn't be sitting here talking to me now."
Yoruha was stunned. "That exaggerated? My Chakra shouldn't be enough to release such a terrifying ninjutsu, should it?"
Although Yoruha knew he had caused a shocking disturbance, it still shouldn't have been comparable to a Tailed Beast Ball.
After all, a Tailed Beast Ball was a true area-destruction weapon.
And Yoruha felt certain that with Chakra reserves still inferior to Kakashi's, there was no way he could release a ninjutsu that powerful.
Kakashi walked over to Yoruha and looked at him for a moment before saying, "There should be some power hidden inside you that even you don't know about."
"The ninjutsu you released yesterday was probably because that power inside you was activated."
Yoruha paused.
There was another power hidden inside him?
How did he not know that?
"Maybe it's because my Chakra is a little different from normal people's."
This time it was Kakashi who looked surprised.
"You know your Chakra is different from everyone else's?"
He had only known Yoruha's Chakra was unusual because he had the Sharingan.
But how had Yoruha known his own Chakra was different?
Yoruha looked up at Kakashi and said calmly, "I've always known. The quality of my Chakra is much stronger than an ordinary person's."
"It's just that before, I didn't know any ninjutsu, so I had no way to feel exactly how it was different."
Kakashi sighed. "I thought you didn't know."
Yoruha smiled. "My ability to sense Chakra is also a bit stronger than average."

Hearing that Kakashi had actually told Third Hokage about him, Yoruha frowned.

He had originally thought Kakashi was someone he could trust.

Yoruha's expression turned serious.
But then he thought that he had never had any great ambitions to begin with. No matter what Third Hokage did, he would never simply submit without resistance.
Once he thought that through, Yoruha stopped dwelling on it.
Kakashi had been watching Yoruha the whole time.
At first, when Yoruha's expression turned grave and he showed distrust toward him, Kakashi felt deeply ashamed.
But Yoruha quickly calmed down again, and Kakashi couldn't help admiring him.
He knew Yoruha had thought it through.
When Kakashi himself had been Yoruha's age, there was no way he could have come to terms with something this important in an instant.
At least in terms of temperament, Kakashi felt he was inferior to Yoruha.
After sorting things out, Yoruha looked at Kakashi and asked, "Kakashi-sensei, you should go back and rest first. You definitely didn't sleep last night, did you?"
Yoruha was still touched.
Kakashi had kept watch over him all night.
Realizing that Yoruha wasn't blaming him, Kakashi let out a breath of relief. "It's fine. For a ninja, going one night without sleep isn't much of a problem."
But Yoruha still said, "You should get some rest anyway. I don't have any missions today. I want to stay home and figure out what exactly is going on with the Chakra in my body."
Kakashi walked over and asked, "The power inside you may be very strong. I'm afraid it won't be easy to control."
Yoruha nodded. "I can tell that much. It already went out of control last night. I had clearly formed 'Chidori,' but right when I was about to attack, my Chakra Rampageed."
"But I think I can control that power. Last night, it was only because my control over that Chakra wasn't good enough, which caused the Chakra to Rampage."
