The next moment, space energy erupted from Sylas's body. It didn't explode outward violently at first, but it condensed.
The surrounding space began to compress unnaturally, folding inward toward him. The air warped, bending as if reality itself was being pulled into a singular point.
Crack… crack…
Fine fractures appeared in the space around him like invisible glass under pressure.
Then...
Boom.
It expanded.
A violent surge of spatial energy burst outward in all directions, distorting everything within its range. The ground beneath Sylas shattered, chunks of asphalt lifting and breaking apart as if gravity had lost its hold.
The vines that lunged toward him froze mid-motion. Then, they were erased. Not cut, not broken, but gone.
Entire sections of the attacking plants vanished as if they had never existed in that space to begin with.
"…What the hell…" Drew muttered from afar, barely able to see through the fog.
