Chapter 1143 - Shu, You're Just a Loli in the Snack Street!

Looking at the several outfits Shu was holding, Kiana blinked blankly.

"Th... this many?"

"Excluding this dress, it's just three outfits." Shu shook the long dress in his hand. "Exactly one set for sports, one for casual wear, and one you can wear to work... uh... you don't need this one."

Shu fell silent for a moment. He was about to turn back and hang the formal little suit back up, but Kiana hurriedly stopped him.

"I think it looks really good!" Kiana pulled Shu's hand pitifully. "Maybe I'll need it in the future?"

Shu's expression gradually turned grave, and then he shook his head stiffly.

"It's best if you never need it." He meant it sincerely.

"Wow..." The clerk, who had been watching the entire process, let out an envious sound.

"Try this set on first." Shu handed her the casual outfit.

"The fitting rooms are over there." The clerk immediately prepared to lead the way.

Kiana took the clothes and quickly looked them over. Then she looked down at the hands she and Shu hadn't let go of, and finally tilted her head up, waiting quietly for Shu to react.

Shu: "..."

He glanced at the fitting room, opened his mouth as if to say something, but ultimately just took a deep breath, looking as if he had made some firm resolution.

But just as Shu was about to let go so Kiana could go try on the clothes, Kiana suddenly reached out, took all the clothes from Shu's hands, and handed them all to the clerk.

"No need to try them on! Just wrap them all up for us."

"Are you sure you don't want to try them on?" Not only was Shu stunned, but the clerk also looked somewhat surprised by Kiana's action.

Kiana nodded earnestly. "Yes, no need to try them on. Trying on clothes is so troublesome."

"Besides..." Kiana puffed out her chest confidently, put her hands on her hips, let out a soft hmph, and curved her lips into a cat-like smirk. "I look good in whatever I wear!"

"That... is certainly true." The clerk smiled a bit constrainedly, but she was genuinely convinced.

First of all, this male customer's eye for fashion was ridiculously good. With barely a glance, he had picked out the most suitable clothes for his girlfriend, and they were three completely different styles.

Furthermore, this female customer indeed had a top-tier figure and facial features; she really was the type who would look good in anything.

Even if her boyfriend picked out a gaudy red floral padded jacket for her, she could probably still wear it with the aura of a wealthy young miss.

"Alright, but do you need any size adjustments?" The clerk asked with a cheerful smile. Shu finally snapped out of it and shook his head.

"No need... the sizes are perfect," he said, reaching for his phone to prepare for payment.

Kiana quietly leaned in close to Shu's ear and whispered, "Shu, what's my height again?"

She honestly didn't remember clearly herself... after all, she wasn't the kind of girl who had to weigh herself naked every morning to make sure she hadn't gained weight.

Her constitution was amazing; she ate so much every day without gaining a single pound or an ounce of flab.

So she didn't pay much attention to her height and weight, only having a general idea.

For example... she was a bit shorter than Mei, much shorter than Shu, but that little pipsqueak Bronya could only hit her knees even if she jumped!

"163 centimeters... uh..." Shu blurted out Kiana's height instinctively. But then he remembered something, confirmed this Kiana's age, and nodded. "Yes, 1.63 meters, 49 kilograms..."

"Is that so?" Kiana reached out and touched her own stomach, as if trying to gauge her own weight, but quickly gave up. She then flashed Shu a cheeky grin.

"Shu, I know your height and weight too~"

Shu looked at her in astonishment as Kiana confidently rattled off a string of numbers.

"You're 1.8 meters tall and weigh 54.8 kilograms! Right?"

"..." Shu stared at this girl—who would grow to 49.9 kilograms in just a few years—hesitated for a moment, and ultimately decided to shatter her confidence.

"Those were my physical stats from seven or eight years ago..." He remembered his past physical data very clearly.

Though... in the story Kiana told, the version of him she met was indeed the him from seven or eight years ago, wasn't it?

College days, huh... I really did have those stats back then.

"Eh?!" Kiana's confident expression crumbled. She looked Shu up and down, leaning away and then leaning in close, before directly reaching out and giving Shu's stomach a pinch.

Wah! It's flab!!

Kiana found exactly what she couldn't find on her own stomach on Shu's. Although Shu quickly dodged away, her face was filled with utter disbelief.

Startled by the sudden attack, Shu's face turned slightly red, and he covered his stomach, looking somewhat flustered and exasperated.

"Then... then how much do you weigh now?" Kiana's voice lost its confidence. Shu fell silent, then simply turned his head away in refusal.

He wasn't telling. He just wasn't going to say it.

The three outfits were packed up.

As Shu scanned the code to pay, he looked at the number popping up on the screen and the corner of his eye twitched.

"So expensive," he muttered softly.

"Is it expensive?" Kiana naturally leaned her head over. "How much, how much?"

Shu put his phone away, not letting her see.

"You don't have any money anyway, seeing it will only make you feel bad." He said, about to head straight to their planned next destination.

"Eh, wait, wait, wait—" Kiana grabbed him. "Um..."

Shu turned around in confusion. Their next destination was the underwear shop, which was right next door.

So what other problem did Kiana have?

"Before we buy clothes, there's one more thing!" Kiana patted her stomach righteously. "I'm hungry!"

Shu: "..."

He pulled the phone he had just pocketed back out and checked the time. It had been just over an hour since they left the house, and less than two hours since breakfast.

"You're hungry again?" Shu's look made Kiana feel like he was viewing her as an alien.

"What do you mean 'again'?" Kiana glared at him. "Shopping is very tiring, okay! Since I'm burning energy, of course I need to replenish it."

"...But you ate ten people's worth of food for breakfast."

"That was breakfast!"

"You had snacks at the entrance just now."

"Those were snacks!"

Hiss...

Shu had to admire Kiana's capabilities on the "Path of Gluttony." He knew he absolutely couldn't win an argument against her... and he was genuinely afraid Kiana might actually make herself sick from hunger.

"Let's go..." He sighed. "So what do you want to eat?"

Kiana's eyes lit up, and she dragged him running downstairs.

"Snacks! I saw so many when we first came in!"

Holding her new clothes, she dragged Shu in a light jog all the way to the first-floor snack area.

Standing at the entrance of the snack area, Kiana took a deep breath, taking in the aromas of fried, boiled, braised, roasted, pan-fried, sautéed, steamed, and stir-fried foods all at once.

"Smells so good~" An intoxicated expression appeared on her face. Then she turned to Shu, once again wearing that brimming, confident expression.

"Shu, I admit your fashion sense for picking clothes is better than mine." She pointed a finger at his chest. "But when it comes to eating, drinking, and having fun—"

She paused and proudly lifted her chin.

"You're just a loli!"

Shu: "?"

What the heck?
