Varelya was too shocked to say anything; her gaze was fixed on Theo's serious expression.
Theo didn't mind what he said. He did what he had to do. The aura in the sword moved again, only to double in output this time.
Anybody could see what Theo did there. Varelya clenched the daggers tightly and took a deep breath. She moved briskly too.
Theo knew it would take her a few seconds to get to him, and now that he had told her, he would go all out.
He bent his knees a little, which made some of the veteran soldiers, knights, and nobles notice it out of instinct.
"WATCH OUT!" one even screamed at the top of his lungs to help Varelya, but it was too late.
Theo shot forward at her, making her freeze for just a split second. Yet Theo was so fast that he moved past her right away with the sound of metal hitting metal.
"Wait..." An older noble kept a hand on his mouth, his eyes filled with shock. "...That was too fast."
