After a few days, they returned to Spirit City and the Spirit Hall.
Hun Tiandi returned to his routine, which consisted of training as usual or going through the old records of the Spirit Hall and working on his projects.
The Spirit Hall valued the Alchemy he was developing because it was a game-changer that could increase its power by several degrees.
With all of the support from the Spirit Hall and the resources they had on hand, his progress in the Alchemical research was relatively smooth.
During the past few years and several months, after he had returned from the Great Dou Star Forest after the hunt for the Soul Rings, he had already created a stable frame for the future Alchemy and Alchemists instead.
At the same time, he was working with the Chrysanthemum Douluo and the Poison Douluo to compile a compendium of herbs and ingredients for Alchemy. While it was confirmed that some things were similar between the Douluo Continent and the Dou Qi Continent, there were still a lot of things that were different, and they needed translation.
Fortunately enough, the two Titled Douluos were making Hun Tiandi's work much easier because they were very good at identifying the herbs and everything. He even taught them the concepts of alchemy while Dugu Bo, who was the Jade Poison Douluo, worked on the creation of the Poison Master Occupation.
The reputation of the Poison Masters on the Dou Qi Continent wasn't really great, and the occupation wasn't something that many wanted to be widespread or practice.
A lot of people were scared to build relationships with Poison Masters since the latter could use poisoning methods that were impossible to guard against and would leave enemies, even friends, uneasy.
Poison Masters excelled at using poison to kill and eliminate targets and entire armies; that is one of the reasons many hate Poison Masters and look at them with great wariness.
Mostly because they were using "cowardly" tactics to kill the enemies and sometimes even the entire enemy army with relative ease if the opponents didn't have a method of protecting themselves against the powerful poison of the Poison Masters.
This made the Poison Masters a powerful force with which to be reckoned. There are many poisons under the Poison Masters's control, and a few of them are capable of controlling other's movements, killing, paralyzing, destroying crops, and nullifying the 5 basic senses.
This was just the tip of the iceberg that any proper Poison Master could do as it was considered as the basics of the Poison Master Occupation and nothing really that advanced.
Dugu Bo was especially fascinated by the concept of the Poison Masters because it wasn't something that was out of the world. Hun Tiandi, meanwhile, didn't really know where to laugh or cry that the people of the Douluo Continent never really explored the limits of the Soul Power Cultivation System.
Though if they were all focusing on the Martial Souls...
If the Dou Qi Continent had something akin to Martial Souls, then he wouldn't think for a second; otherwise, the Dou Qi Continent would look exactly the same as the Douluo Continent.
Why focus on Martial Arts, different occupations, or Weapon Mastery if one just needed to develop their Martial Soul to the limits and be already very powerful?
The Poison Douluo had already begun teaching the Poison Arts to some people who had Martial Soul, at least a bit related to the Poisons, or to those who showed a significant aptitude towards the Poisons and their usage.
It was predicted that within a few years, around three years at maximum, the Spirit Hall would have a new generation of the very first Poison Masters in the Douluo Continent, and with the existence of the Martial Souls, the Poison Masters of the Douluo Continent could also use their Martial Souls to their own advantage.
Either by obtaining the Soul Rings that would directly help their Poison Arts or those who don't have Martial Souls related to the Poison, they wouldn't be at least defenseless on the battlefield when they were deprived of their Poisons.
That was the greatest weakness of the Poison Masters in the Dou Qi Continent because, most often, it became very easy to kill the Poison Master when the Poison Master ran out of the poisons or was deprived of them or their usage for whatever reason.
Because Hun Tiandi wasn't really a Poison Master in his past life, the most he could do was lay the groundwork for the future Poison Master Occupation and let those with more experience in that area handle it.
What he was more focused on was incorporating elements from the Dou Qi Cultivation into the Soul Power Cultivation System of the Douluo Continent, because there was a lot to do.
Because everyone within the Spirit Hall knew that he was a genius, he essentially got everything that he asked for, and even the Worshipping Elders of the Douluo Consecration Hall would do their best to help him in his effort.
There were a lot of things from the Dou Qi Cultivation System that the practitioners of the Soul Power Cultivation System couldn't really do. One of the most notable things was that, regarding their Soul Rank, the Soul Masters couldn't fly, they didn't have anything similar to the Spatial Strength, and they also didn't have the "Dou Cores".
The overall thing would be that Soul Power Cultivation was inferior in terms of pure raw power compared to Dou Qi Cultivation. At the same time, when the powerful Soul Masters used their Martial Soul, it became an entirely different thing.
Hun Tiandi wanted to elevate the strength of the Soul Power Cultivation System and the raw power of the Soul Master by incorporating the elements from the Dou Qi Cultivation System.
Something that was possible only due to his extensive knowledge of the topic of Cultivation Systems and everything around them. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts and to his great dismay, Hun Tiandi was too weak; he was getting help from the Worship Elders from the Douluo Consecration Hall.
Qian Daoliu was most curious about the Hun Tiandi, for whom he had been caring since he was a child, because, even though he was a small child, the ideas he had about the Soul Power Cultivation System were not even the most profound scholars dared to speculate about.
Internally, the elderly Titled Douluo had to admit that compared to the development of the Martial Souls, the development of the pure Soul Power Cultivation was tremendously neglected, and there were barely any people who were giving some effort to it.
While initially he dismissed Tiandi's ideas as ramblings, he later found that some of the ideas that he had proposed could be adapted by the Titled Douluos almost immediately, and they were very useful.
Qian Daoliu, as the Limit Douluo of the Soul Rank 99 and someone who was one of the strongest Soul Masters in the Douluo Continent and keeper of the secrets, knew many secrets that ordinary people were unaware of.
He was also one of the few who realized that the Soul Power Cultivation itself could be upgraded and that there were many things left to explore.
"So, you're saying that the Soul Power could be condensed into the solidified form of a Crystal in their bodies?"
The concept of the Soul Cores was something that wasn't widespread across the Douluo Continent, and ordinarily speaking, only the strongest Titled Douluo had something that was reminiscent of the Soul Core inside their body.
A metaphysical condensed energy crystallization of Soul Power or Bloodline Essence indicates the advancement of one's martial soul comprehension or one's Bloodline's evolution to a higher life stage as well as cultivation foundation.
Depending on the source from which a Soul Core is condensed, the possessor's potential is permanently amplified on the path of that source, and the affinity is increased to that source.
A Soul Core functions as a storage collecting unit, allowing the possessor to lessen the rate of loss: recovery of its source. Soul Cores can also be voluntarily controlled by their possessors. The Soul Core can be condensed within living beings by their own cultivation progress.
In earlier times, mortal humans, who were called Douluo powerhouses, condensed Soul Cores after becoming Titled Douluos through their higher Spiritual Power and Physique. But even then, the Soul Cores that they condensed were...
Subpar to what they could be, if the process was consciously done like Hun Tiandi was proposing.
"Hmm... it should be doable... I myself have two of them, but they were created naturally, and their output, as you are describing, is weak. I would need to reconstruct them with the Soul Power. Have you thought about it?"
The Spirit Hall, as the faction with the longest history and the highest number of the Titled Douluos, also had the most comprehensive library and records about the Soul Power Cultivation.
Thus, Hun Tiandi found many notes on something the Titled Douluo of previous generations believed to be the Soul Core of the Soul Master, but none of them had constructed it manually; it came to them during their advancement.
"Yes. According to the notes, some of the Titled Douluos attempted to tamper with the Soul Core, but they lacked either control over Soul Power or the proper knowledge of how to do it. I have compiled everything that I could find and refined it to the process here."
Hun Tiandi answered the Grand Worship of the Spirit Hall as he passed him a thin booklet that described the formation of the Soul Core, which was the amalgamation of the Dou Qi System and Soul Power System together.
"Hmm..."
Qian Daoliu immediately started reading the thin booklet as he was fascinated by how precise the instructions were, and the most shocking part of the thing was the fact that it was entirely doable.
If what was written there was true and could be realized safely without any side effects, then the power of the Titled Douluos would skyrocket from the existence of the Soul Cores. Not only that, but they could also condense different types of Soul Cores that best suited their cultivation and Martial Souls or their Bloodline, which would even further increase their powers.
He was totally engrossed in the research that Hun Tiandi presented to him and was already eager to try it on himself. With his skills, cultivation, Soul Rank, Spiritual Power, and control over his Soul Power, it would be more than easy to condense the first Soul Cores even right now.
It was evident that the condensation of the Soul Cores could be done even by the Soul Masters under the Titled Douluo Realm, but that was just in the far future. Right now, it is of paramount importance to try the method that Hun Tiandi proposed, and if it works well, then every single Titled Douluo should follow the same method.
According to the notes, then every single Titled Douluo within the Spirit Hall could condense two Soul Cores, while only those at the Soul Rank 99, which was the limit for the Soul Masters under the God Rank, could condense the 3rd Soul Core.
Right now, he was the only one Soul Master who could condense three Soul Cores, and as he pondered over the Hun Tiandi's notes, he decided to give it a try and start condensation of the 1st Soul Core or, rather, in his case, re-condensation, as he already had something that appeared to be a Soul Core within his body.
"I will be going to condense the Soul Core; come with me to the Douluo Consecration Hall."
Obviously, he wasn't going to do something as important as the Soul Core condensation in the libraries and archives of the Spirit Hall. For that, they headed back to the Douluo Consecration Hall, where Qian Daoliu would undergo the re-condensation process on his Soul Cores.
Within the Douluo Consecration Hall, there was already a specific training area for them because the Worship Elders that were spending all of the their time at the Douluo Consecration Hall needed a good environment to practice cultivation.
When both of them arrived at the training area of the Douluo Consecration Hall, it was empty, which wasn't really that surprising considering the small number of the Worshipping Elders of the Douluo Consecration Hall.
Most of the time, the Worshipping Elders were cultivating in seclusion and not training at the Training Hall within the Douluo Consecration Hall. When both of them arrived, Qian Daoliu didn't waste any time.
He instructed Hun Tiandi to go to the safe area within the training hall so he could start the Soul Core reconditioning according to Hun Tiandi's instructions. When the process was finished, it was highly possible that Qian Daoliu would subconsciously release some of his Soul Power around himself from the power-up.
And the uncontrolled Soul Power of Limit Titled Douluo of the Soul Rank 99 Demi-God was enough to kill even much stronger Soul Masters than just Hun Tiandi, who was at the Soul Rank 21 Soul Grandmaster.
Fortunately enough, the instructions that Hun Tiandi wrote in the guideline were very concrete and precise, and there were even a lot of tips and tricks that Hun Tiandi managed to gather from the previous generations of the Titled Douluos of the Spirit Hall or some of his own insights from the Dou Qi Cultivation System.
Obviously, after a few people underwent this process, they could start polishing it even more, and hopefully, it wouldn't be required for one to reach the Titled Douluo to condense the Soul Core, but even the Soul Masters of the lower cultivation would be able to condense the Soul Core.
According to Hun Tiandi's predictions, it was very possible for the Soul Masters of lower cultivation to condense their Soul Cores. However, for that, they would still need a lot of testing and a lot of information.
Right now, Hun Tiandi was paying attention to the Grand Worshipping Elder of the Spirit Hall, as Qian Daoliu started the re-condensation process on the 1st Soul Core within his body.
The process was rather slow, but soon enough, Qian Daoliu was close to finishing the process of the re-condensation of the 1st Soul Core because he already had the Soul Core in his body.
Due to that, Hun Tiandi devised two methods of accomplishing the condensing of the Soul Core.
The first one was the one Qian Daoliu was using right now because it was specifically designed for the Titled Douluos, who had already condensed their Soul Cores. Their process was a bit different from that of the Soul Master, who never condensed any Soul Core, so he needed to devise a specific method for doing so.
Fortunately enough, due to the extensive notes in the libraries of the Spirit Hall and his own knowledge about the Soul Power Cultivation and Dou Qi Cultivation, he was able to create a rather good and stable method of recondensing the Soul Core inside a Titled Douluo's body.
The second method was for the Titled Douluos, who had yet to condense Soul Core and would be doing so from scratch. He based it almost entirely on the Dou Qi Cultivation, but that has yet to be tested, though it should theoretically work.
For the time being, though, he would be content if the first method worked as it should, though the results would come out soon because he felt a tremendous burst of Soul Power from the body of Qian Daoliu that even caught Hun Tiandi by surprise.
'If not for the annoying Planar Suppression that is extremely strong, then he would be comparable to the peak Dou Saint... almost.'
Someone as experienced as Hun Tiandi recognized almost immediately that the Planar Laws of the Douluo Continent were extremely strict and powerful, and that the suppression of cultivators was tremendous.
One of the reasons why the cultivators in the Dou Qi Continent were able to unleash such huge degrees of destruction was mainly due to the very weak Planar Laws of the Dou Qi Continent that barely suppressed them at all.
This wasn't the case on the Douluo Continent, where the suppression of the Planar Laws was very powerful, which should be mainly connected to the existence of the Gods and the mythical Divine Realm.
Hun Tiandi could feel that the raw power of the Holy Angel Douluo had increased several times, and the Holy Attribute of his Soul Power had gotten stronger several times after the re-condensation of the very 1st Soul Core within his body.
And that was just one of the three. Hun Tiandi predicted that if Qian Daoliu recondensed all three of his Soul Cores successfully, then he would be around five times more powerful than he was before, just in terms of the raw power.
Obviously, that did not take into account all the other benefits that one obtained from the proper Soul Cores. The Titled Douluo with proper Soul Core would always defeat the one without the proper Soul Core.
At the same time, it also allowed the Titled Douluo to fight above his Soul Rank because, at the Titled Douluo Rank, every single Soul Level was something that represented a huge gap in raw power.
Pretty similar to how the Dou Saint Realm worked in the Dou Qi Continent.
Qian Daoliu opened his eyes, as he was brimming with power, and he even felt that his Lifespan had been extended by a few extra decades by having a properly condensed Soul Core that was empowering him at all times.
His Soul Power got much purer and denser than it was before, something that even Hun Tiandi noticed almost immediately.
