Ch.07
Ron's reply instantly affirmed Yori's concerns. It was an like almost tangible distance was growing between them. Ron seemed comparable to a star in the amount of power he was generating but it was costing him a part of himself. From the records Yori had read while trying to figure out how to bring Ron back, she vaguely recalled a passage about an imbalance between Yin and Yang being dangerous to MMP users.
'But that shouldn't be the case anymore since the idols were meant to correct that!' Yori thought, reddening because the only way to fix it before the idols was finding a equally strong Yin force to Ron's Yang to balance it out through intercourse. The catch, both sides must be virgins!
This wouldn't necessarily be a problem but with the amount of energy Ron was generating finding an equal source of Yin was going to be neigh but impossible. 'What happened to the Yin force contained in the MMP idols?' Yori wondered and asked Ron to explain what's happened to him since he arrived in this universe and released his MMP.
Ron for his part simply retold of his experience since falling into the portal. Approaching the MMP to keep Shego and himself safe through the passage. Using it to escape imprisonment and finally when he broke the seal on his memories and left enough MMP to heal Shego's broken spine. Then leaving for Drakken's lair and summoning the Lotus Blade.
When Ron said he left 'enough' MMP in Shego to heal her spine, Yori understood what happened to cause the imbalance. Ron accidentally left the Yin aspect of his MMP in Shego. Now it wasn't just him in danger of loosing himself, so was Shego. 'But that brings the question, are they ready for the solution?' Yori asked herself. 'Am I?'
"Ron-san, I believe I know what's happening to you and Shego-san." Yori said.
"To me ... and Shego?" Ron asked confused.
"Yes, Ron-san, to you and Shego-san." Yori confirmed. "It's an imbalance in the MMP's Yin and Yang Qi. If I am right, you left the Yin Qi from the MMP with Shego-san to heal her."
"Oh." Ron said seemingly uninterested. "I guess that is a bad thing?"
"According to the ancient scrolls, very!" Yori affirmed.
"Does it have a solution?" Ron asked though his tone didn't so much as show concern, like he was simply going through the motions.
"Yes but it requires us to find Shego-san." Yori answered. Even as she spoke Yori saw Ron's gaze drift as if he looked at a different world.

Shego heard everyone celebrate the destruction at Drakken's base but focused on Ron who kept getting faster the longer he fought. More precise, deadlier and detached? 'Why do I feel like he's growing further away away?' Shego wondered to herself.
When Ron finished destroying Drakken's base and issued his challenge, Shego decided that's where she'll go. Her blood was pumping like there's no tomorrow and the power coursing through her was straining to be released. Shego also felt that something else was happening to her but couldn't figure out what as she focused on Ron's construct of the Possible home.
"Wade, I need a ride!" Shego called out, finally turning away from the feed.
"Shego, I'll..." Wade began but was cut off.
"Did you know he could do this?" Will Du roared. "Could our Ron?" He was glaring at Wade with his gun in hand. "Did you? Wade, answer me?!"
"Wha...t?" Wade said stunned by Will Du's actions as he was now held at gunpoint.
"Du, calm down and put the gun away!" Dr Director said trying to be the voice of reason.
But Will Du whirled on her. "You did, didn't you? The Stoppable factor that you had our scientist researching! This was it, wasn't it?" Roared Will Du.
Shego felt her anger rear it's head like a cobra. Giving no warning, her plasma ignited and chaos reigned. There were gunshots, shouts, several flashes of plasma and screams all at once. People moving all over the place and then more gunshots. Moving on instinct and anger, Shego neutralized anyone who aimed their gun at her but her power was stronger than it should be.
"Stop! Everyone stop!" Wade yelled from behind a bot. "We're all friendlies. Stop!!"
Shego was coated in plasma and looking ahead of her when she stopped. In growing horror she realized that her shots of plasma that would have normally knocked out opponents had vaporized holes through their bodies this time. 'No, no, no, NO, NO, NOO!' Shego's thoughts screamed. 'I fight, I steal but I never KILL! What have I done?!' With that thought Shego looked around her and at the bodies. Nine bodies. Eight with lethal plasma holes burned through their bodies. Eight that she killed personally. And Dr Director who had a bullet hole in the forehead, likely from Will Du. Shego's anger was replaced by horror and disgust. She was still trying to reing in her powers when her eyes landed on Wade clutching his stomach and saying something.
"...go you can power down. No one will shoot at you. You have my word." The sound seem to finally reach Shego.
"....I can't!" Shego said. As even as she spoke Shego was doing her utmost to power down.
"You can't." Wade repeated while he looked at her and Shego nodded. "Did something happen while you were captured?" Wade asked and Shego shook her head. "Then, why?"
"...I think, it has to do with Ron and how he healed me." Shego said.

Wade was in shock, he knew it for certain. Why? Because he wasn't feeling the pain from the gunshot to his abdomen or panic at the amount of blood he felt slip through his fingers nor at Dr Director's dead body to his left. No, he was focused on Shego and her dilemma.
Shego couldn't shut down her powers. Powers that vaporized holes through eight people just a minute before. Powers that judging from the temperature and Shego's expression were growing stronger. 'Ron, what did you do?!'
"Wade, you're bleeding." Shego said to him and looking at her expression he wondered if she was going to be sick.
"I am." Wade confirmed. "Stray bullet from the chaos. Wade bot, administer first aid." Wade instructed but his robot staggered to comply and collapsed at that moment. There were bullet holes on it's back and he vaguely noted that it would have destroyed it's critical functions where they impacted. Also saved his life as he was standing right across from the bot.
"We need a doctor!" Shego yelled at the others in the room.
"The medic is dead and the doctors are in the bunker." Wade said to her. "And at the rate I'm loosing blood we won't make it to the nearest hospital."
"What can I do?" Shego asked him.
"Cauterize the wound." Wade said, adding. "It'll slow the bleeding hopefully long enough to get to Ron."
"To Ron? You need a hospital!" Shego exclaimed while coming near. She seemed frantic.
"Shego, I'm part of the resistance." Wade countered. "A hospital would likely turn me over to Drakken where I'll be executed or used against us... Arghhhh!" Wade was explaining till Shego brought her hand to his wound and he screamed as it burned before passing out!

When next Wade woke, he was in a flying transport heading somewhere. Through the pain he turned slightly and spotted a syringe and anesthetic at his side. 'Seems they've been ready to help with the pain!'
"I'm awake." Wade called out to the best of his abilities though it sounded weak even to him.
In a moment the intercom sparked to life and Shego's voice is heard. "Wade, glad you're awake but that means the anesthesia in your body ran it's course." There was shaking and rumbling for a moment then Shego continued. "Now I need you to grab the syringe and anesthetic and administer a dose. There's a line marked on the syringe."
"If I do that I'll fall unconscious." Wade said. "Not happening!"
"Wade the pain is going to be bad." Shego said. "Trust me you don't want to be awake for that."
"Shego, I'm not passing what could be my final moments asleep." Wade said.
There was silence in response to his statement until Shego said. "Fine, do what you want!"
"How long was I out for?" Wade asked noting that Shego seem concerned for him through her tone. 'Though as nails Shego was concerned? Can't be!' He denied.
"Coming up on an hour." Shego answered. "Been in the air for forty minutes. And with this thing's speed should arrive in another twenty!"
There was another shake to the transport and Wade cussed. "Fuck!"
"Sorry but although I'm trying to keep her steady, avoiding fire and retaliating makes it difficult." Shego apologized.
'Shego apologized?!' Thought Wade in concern. 'Shego never apologizes directly!'
"Shego, has there been any other things that have changed since Ron healed you?" Wade asked.
"...I ...I am not sure?" Shego asked herself. "I don't know, all I've been focused on is getting us to him as soon as possible."
"Okay!" Wade said quickly and asked to get her back on track. "How long now?"
"Thirteen minutes and it seems the pursuit has stopped." Shego sighed in relief and answered.
'Sighing in relief? Shego would never let another soul see or hear her so vulnerable!' Wade thought.
"Shego, you know it wasn't your fault right?" Wade asked. "What happened at HQ was an accident."
"Wade we both know I'm a monster." Shego's voiced was heard and she sounded both disgusted and horrified by his reminder. "I killed eight people. My plasma blasted right through them. And had you not calmed the situation I'm sure I would've killed the rest!" Shego siad.
Wade thought. 'Seems her emotions are amplifying. That confirms it, whatever Ron did seems to be amplifyingher emotions which would explain why she couldn'tshut down her powers before. And why is started getting hot again!'
