Prologue: Boredom
"Boring… There's nothing interesting left here anymore. So this is what mortals call peace? Nothing but endless boredom."
"Master, peace brings happiness to the people of our home. War only brings destruction and sorrow. Wasn't this the dream they longed for?"
"Hahaha… Yeah, I suppose it was." He smiled faintly.
Seated upon his throne, the young boy spoke lazily as his silver eyes drifted toward the woman standing before him.
The palace they inhabited was majestic beyond imagination, bathed in the ethereal glow of countless rivers of stars flowing across the heavens. Yet despite such beauty, his attention wandered elsewhere.
He cared little for the peace mortals so desperately desired.
Still, he had created this place—a "paradise" untouched by suffering—for the sake of those he cherished. Their smiles, fragile and fleeting, were enough to ease the endless boredom gnawing at him.
Sigh…
"But…" A smile suddenly formed on his face. "What if we created a new story?"
Excitement flickered within his silver eyes as he gazed into the endless cosmos.
"A tale of heroes… or perhaps tragedy. One capable of shaking entire multiverses and everything beyond them."
Rising from his throne, he stepped forward slowly.
"Peace may reign here, but the universe itself is nothing more than a jungle." His smile widened slightly. "What was the name of those pieces of trash again?"
"You mean…"
"Yes. Those insects that wish to impose 'fate' upon all existence."
A faint laugh escaped his lips.
"Why should I erase them when I can instead use them for my own amusement?"
The woman watched him silently, affection flickering within her golden eyes.
'Master… your adventures always spiral into chaos. Yet somehow, things always become better in the end. Is that your intention once again?'
"So, Master…" she asked softly. "What will you do?"
"Hm…" He looked toward the endless stars. "Let me think."
The next instant, his body rose into the sky itself.
The woman followed behind him quietly, already sensing that something monumental was about to unfold.
Then—
Yato raised his hand toward the void.
"I will create a place untouched by fate. A realm where desires, struggles, and accomplishments may echo throughout eternity."
His voice reverberated across existence itself.
"A Tower."
BOOOOM.
A colossal black tower erupted from the void itself.
Purple light pulsed across its surface as it pierced through dimensions, stabilizing like a bridge connecting countless worlds together.
The very fabric of reality trembled at its birth.
…
After a moment, Yato turned back toward the woman with a playful smile.
"In this story, my name shall be Yato." He slowly approached her. "And you, my beautiful lady?"
The woman smiled gently.
"Master, I will always remain Yerin." Her golden eyes softened. "Yerin Elsher."
"How adorable." Yato chuckled softly. "My little one."
Then he stretched out his hand toward the stars.
"Now then… let us see who my brightest stars will become."
Two tiny golden spheres materialized before him.
For a brief moment, they flickered like newborn suns—
Then shot across the cosmos at unimaginable speed, traversing the endless universe in search of distant worlds.

'Henceforth… the stage is set, and the curtains have risen.'
'Ah, travelers from distant shores… what roles shall you play within this grand revelry?'
