"I have no reason to lie to you," Bu Lige said flatly, casting a sideways glance at Jiang Shengjun.
Meanwhile, Chi Xiao danced gracefully through the air in his hands, gleaming with refined brilliance. The weapon was clearly extraordinary.
Honestly, Jiang Shengjun was a little jealous.
His eyes lingered on the elegant arcs left behind by Chi Xiao's blade before turning to Bu Lige with curiosity.
"Where did you get that sword... Chi Xiao, right?"
"Obviously from the boss' shop," Bu Lige replied matter-of-factly.
"The Origin Mall? Wasn't it closed?" Jiang Shengjun blinked in confusion.
"It opened today. Otherwise, where do you think I got Chi Xiao?"
Hearing that, Jiang Shengjun's expression twisted in betrayal.
"Bu Lige! I treated you like a brother, and you didn't even tell me the boss reopened the store?!"
"Uh..."
Bu Lige paused, unsure of how to respond. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly and mumbled,
"Ahaha... I just forgot, alright? Besides, there's no rush. The new weapon sales system the boss launched doesn't have inventory limits. You can go anytime."
Jiang Shengjun narrowed his eyes. "Weapon sales system?"
"Yup. Totally new."
"What kinds of weapons are we talking about?" Jiang Shengjun asked, trying to keep his excitement in check.
"Guess," Bu Lige smirked, his tone intentionally mysterious.
"There's got to be more than one type, right?"
"Of course!"
"One hundred of each grade?"
"Too few!"
Jiang Shengjun was already growing impatient. "Just tell me!"
"Ever been to the weapon mall in the Tower of Trials?" Bu Lige chuckled.
Jiang Shengjun's eyes widened. "Wait... You don't mean—"
"Exactly." Bu Lige nodded, smug. "Every weapon available in the Tower of Trials can now be purchased in the Origin Mall."
Jiang Shengjun took a deep breath, fists clenched with resolve. Without another word, he turned and strode off with firm steps.
He had only one thought now:
Go home, grab as many spirit crystals as possible, and rush to the Origin Mall.
"Don't forget to bring extra spirit crystals!" Bu Lige shouted after him, laughing.
Origin Mall
Luo Chuan had just returned from a relaxed lunch at Fengxianlou. As the spatial portal dissolved behind him, he found Bu Shiyi already waiting patiently outside the storefront.
By now, she was used to the boss appearing through strange methods. Space channels? Just another Tuesday.
"Good noon, Boss," she greeted him with a soft smile.
"Mm. Good noon." Luo Chuan nodded in reply.
Bu Lige must've told her, Luo Chuan guessed.
"Boss, my brother mentioned something about a new weapon sales system?" Bu Shiyi asked, her tone laced with curiosity.
"That's right," Luo Chuan confirmed.
"That's wonderful! I've had my eye on a spiritual weapon from the Tower of Trials for a while now!" she said, barely able to contain her excitement.
Luo Chuan's expression remained calm.
Did everyone already have weapons picked out in advance? Were they just waiting for me to open shop...?
He didn't know whether to be impressed or exasperated by how forward-thinking his customers were.
Suddenly, Bu Shiyi's attention shifted.
"Boss, is that a new potted plant?" she asked, pointing to the World Tree that now stood quietly in a corner of the store.
Origin Mall always felt a bit... sterile. Cold. Like a place of commerce with no warmth.
But now, with the addition of the World Tree, something had subtly changed. It added a faint sense of vitality to the store—gentle and alive.
Of course, these thoughts remained private. She didn't dare say them aloud.
Talking with the boss still took a bit more courage than she had.
