Jiang Nian stopped in his tracks upon hearing this.
"Really?"

"Alright then..." He hesitated for a moment, glancing at his phone again, "It's still early, let's hurry over."
It was a cloudy day, and the streetlights on campus had long been in disrepair. The faint light they emitted wasn't enough to illuminate the road.
In the dimness, the two walked one behind the other, making their way against the stream of students heading to self-study, towards the girls' dorm.
"By the way, did you bring the key?"
"Nope."
Yu Zhiyi caught up with him, trying to walk beside him, "Our dorm has a spare key, it's kept in the fire box."
"Oh." Jiang Nian was just casually asking, "No need to be so detailed, I'm not going up."
"Tsk, you might as well come up." She shot Jiang Nian a glance, "If the dorm aunt doesn't mind, I have nothing to say."

Finally, the two arrived at the girls' dormitory. The cloudy day had windows glowing with warm yellow light.
