Jiang Nian didn't argue, he was about to follow them back when he lowered his head and glanced down. He couldn't help but utter a sound of surprise.
"What's this all about?"
"I took a shower, but didn't change clothes."
"Yeah," Wang Yuhe said matter-of-factly, "because I have to go out later to watch the tower burning."
The farm has quite a few small activities, from mountain springs to kayaking, and at night there's the tower burning.
Roast sweet potatoes, firewood roasted chicken, small barbecues, hot pots, basically everything you could want.
"Then why take a shower?"
"You wash because you're dirty." Wang Yuhe thought Jiang Nian was a bit silly and simply dragged him to walk back.
"Come on, hurry."
"Oh."
Jiang Nian didn't find it odd, and stumbled a couple of steps. He simply let her release him, and followed from behind.
