Lazarus and Cassandra immediately went towards and large opened field of luse greenery. Both stretched as to losen their stiff muscles. Both didn't bother changing as Lazarus was still in his boxers while Cassandra wore a tshirt and shorts.
"So... how are we going to do this?" She questioned as she performed a few light jumps.
"Hmmm, how about a best of 2 out of 3. You immobilize your opponent for 3 seconds." He finished his stretches as he got into a combat stance, as did Cass.
*BOOM.*
In a blink of an eye they clashed, moving do fast it appeared as if they were teleporting. Even without the lightning boost.
Cassandra struck first as she sent multiple jabs towards Lazarus head with breaknik speed, but Lazarus dodged, parried and blocked them.
He performed a sweep kick to ruin her balance, but Cass didn't fall for it as she jumped up and gave a front dropkick aimed for his head. Lazarus blocked but could feel his bones slightly crack.
Lazarus swung his arm and launched her into the aim however this seemed to work in her favor as she generated 4 flames spears and launched them at him.
Lazarus sank into the shadows like a famous dark knight to avoid the projectiles. The spear stopped before they made contact with the ground as Cass stopped them and called them back to her as she landed.
Cassandra wasn't stupid as she used one of the spears as a foothold so her feet didn't touch ground to prevent her from making physical contact with her shadow.
'You do remember your still making a shadow?' She heard Lazarus voice in her head as she immediately jumped of the spear and she was glad she did as shadow tendrils came from that spot to attempt to tie her up.
But Lazarus appeared behind her as he struck her om the side, which sent her flying crashing into a bunch of trees.
"Shit!" Lazarus didn't realize how much force he used as he ran towards her. "Cass! You okay!?" He questioned as she rush to check on her to which she made sure he regretted.
A beam of concentrated purple energy shot blasting Lazarus back even further than he did her.
"How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not a damsel in distress, and fight me as you would my brother!" She roared as lightning coated her body and ran in Lazarus direction, but her hair was slightly different as if was now dark with some violet portions still prominent.
She than stopped herself as she sensed
danger, and ducked an attack which was a crimson blade that was swung with such immense force that cut the trees further away
Lazarus moved with a wide smile across his face as he grabbed hers with his hand and dragged her along the ground.
But despite the pain Cassandra was also smiling wickedly as she used the momentum to wrap her legs around his head and the arms which was holding her and flipped over slamming Laz head first into the ground as he created a small crater.
As his head was slamed his body went limp as she began counting.
"1...2.." Before she could finish Lazarus stood while Cassandra had him in a triangle chock-hold, but he whined his fist back charged with his red flames as he struck her, but she caught his fist with her own flame covered hand.
She immediately retaliated to make him pay, as she sent waves of electricity through his body shocking him immensely to the point he left to one knee.
Cassandra counted again and this time it was a full 3 second.
'1..2..3.' She counted in her head cementing her first win but she stills didn't let go of the hold.as she continues to choke Lazarus.
But Lazarus didn't stay down. He opened the palm of the which was trapped in the hold that created a small explosion.
Boom.
"The explosion burnt a massive chunk of Cassandra body but it healed almost instantly but Lazarus didn't relent. As he appeared above her with 2 pairs of red magical circles wrapped around his arms to, which he used to deliver a double fist punch into her stomach sending her plummeting to the ground at such intense speeds her back caught on fire.
When she crashed into the ground, it created a large exposed which sense a shockwave which even reached Astra manner.
It would have destroyed some of the windows but before that a barrier negated the force. As Astra told them that this her home had magical security measures ti prevent any destruction or intrusions.
Lazarus began counting. '1..2.. Waoh!'
He dodged a concentrated beam of purple energy at him, or atleast most of it as he didn't leave that exchange unscathed as his entire left arm and the left side of his chest were gone and it was sizzling.
Lazarus coughed up blood which sparked Cassandra concern as what she did was shoot a concentrated beam of energy which would actually be a one-hit kill against most supernatural beings if caught off gaurd.
But Lazarus grinned widely and immediately created six red orbs of fire. However instead of instantly hurling them at Cass, he concentrated on them increases their heat and causing to oxygen in the air to smell of ozone as they began to shift and the sound of crackling could be heard in the air.
He launched orbs of plasma plummeted towards her direction she immediately ran at her top speed, dodging most of them but 2 landed aimed at her knee and and one of her arms, destroying them
losses balance caused by the her lost limbs and due to the momentum she built up she crashed into multiple trees.
Lazarus began to count. "1..2..3."
That was his victory making the score 1.1 each. He stared at the dust cloud to which Cassandra was in. He decided to ask if she was okay.
"Cass say something ifvyour good to go or should we stop here?" He shouted as he began to descent. To which Cassandra responded in her own fiery way as she appeared infront of Lazarus and struck him with a fist entirely made from her flames and lightning.
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.
Lazarus body was sent flying through multiple trees which cause 3 explosions in a row.
Cassandra was smiling as she spoke. "Naw! We keep going!" She shouted as she charged after him.
