"I wasn't informed that Orochimaru-Sama will also be coming here."
The first thing the Captain said when he looked at the group of three. He was informed that Tsunade and someone else would be coming to the camp. Even though it was from the ROOT ninjas, he didn't care much since Danzo was a higher-up, similar to the Third Hokage to him.
"Yeah. But his coming here was better for us and secure too." Tsunade spoke in a nonchalant expression, but her words had hidden meaning. The Captain of the camp looked at Tsunade. He was experienced enough to understand the meaning behind her words.
'She is telling that she knows where the mission came from, and since it wasn't an 'official' mission, she can bring whoever she wants to complete the mission.'
"I understand, Tsunade-Sama. Here is the scroll containing everything. Besides this, some things haven't been confirmed. So, I will just verbally tell them."
Hearing his words, not only Tsunade but Orochimaru raised his brows. After all, a spy doesn't tell information that hasn't been confirmed, and if the captain wanted them to be aware of the information, it means it was something important.
"It seems you want me to tell this information as something we found out."
"You want us to convey this information as ours."
Akane and Orochimaru spoke at the same time, making Tsunade and the Captain look at them. Orochimaru also glanced at Akane, who glanced back at him, and they nodded at each other.
The Captain of the camp wasn't surprised that Orochimaru understood what he meant, but he was a bit shocked by the third member of the group.
'I think I understand why Danzo-Sama asked me to report everything I notice about him. Tsunade-Sama would also have understood, but this guy understood the underlying meaning at the same time as Orochimaru-Sama.'
'Even if he isn't on Orochimaru-Sama's level, it seems he is also a genius and has a great mind.'
"So that's how it is," Tsunade murmured with a thoughtful face. She wasn't surprised by their words, even if she understood them a bit later. She looked at the Captain with no change in her expression and said, "I will decide after listening to the information."
"I understand, Tsunade-Sama."
Acknowledging Tsunade's words, the Captain started to inform them about the unofficial information which was related to the information they were aware of.
The Captain spoke about irregular movements of Rain Ninjas, gatherings of Rogue Ninjas, and, most importantly, the fact that ninjas from different villages were seen in the country and some communication happened between them and Rain Ninjas.
It didn't seem to be official since they tried to look for documents that hinted about the topic they talked about, and even after capturing a group of ninjas, they noticed that each one had limited information and was different from the others.
The group heard the information carefully, and in the end, Akane and Tsunade looked at each other with knowing looks in their eyes. Their little exchange was noticed by Orochimaru, who narrowed his eyes, and then he remembered something Tsunade had mentioned in between.
'Is it related to that? The guy she mentioned, the one we would look for if we had free time.'
"That's all the information I have. Like I said, all of this isn't confirmed, and it could be a misinterpretation from our side. Tsunade-Sama, Orochimaru-Sam, anything else you two would like to ask about?"
Orochimaru had some questions in his mind, but he decided to ask them later alone. As for Tsunade, she started to think for a while, but she didn't get any questions in her mind. What she was curious about was the Masked Guy, and she planned on looking for him later.
But Akane had some ideas in his mind. A moment later, he whispered to Tsunade and her eyes gleamed at his words.
"Ahm! So, what instructions did you receive from the 'village'?"
Even though Akane was 'officially' a 'genin', the Captain told the information that a 'genin' like him wouldn't have known. He didn't even once mention about Akane leaving the room once, and even if it was because he was brought by Tsunade with Orochimaru, it didn't make sense for him to not even speak for once.
Orochimaru looked at Akane with a curious face since he wanted to know what Akane spoke, and it was surely not what Tsunade had asked. But his feelings weren't shared by Captain, who thought that it was Akane who wanted to know this, not Tsunade.
'This boy is very sharp. Did something happen about which I am not aware? Does he know that I have to make a report on him? I think I can choose not to reply but looking at Tsunade-Sama's expression and glint in Orochimaru-Sama's eyes, it seems they also want to know what instructions I have received.'
'Well, I don't think I have to mention this as mission details are 'supposed' to be secret. But--'
"Before saying that, you can't say, just know that I know this isn't an official mission and this time I am speaking clearly. Not as hidden meaning."
Hearing her words, the Captain sighed and he now couldn't use the excuse he wanted to use, even if he knew the chances of them accepting his words weren't even 1%.
"I was told to give the information and keep an eye on your actions. That's all I can say." The Captain spoke a moment later. He didn't fully state the task he was asked to do. After all, he didn't think they would force him to speak everything. He was sure that they would understand everything without mentioning more.
"Ohh, keeping an eye, huh! As I expected," Tsunade spoke, gritting her teeth. She really wanted to slap Danzo and ask why he wanted to know everything, but she knew she wouldn't get the chance in real life.
Orochimaru let out a chuckle at Tsunade's words, and he more or less understood Danzo's actions.
As for the main guy in the situation, Akane sighed, and a thoughtful face appeared on his face.
'My intuition tells me this isn't all Danzo has planned.'
Considering all the information he had on Danzo, and he had seen how far he could go to get what he wanted. He didn't think Danzo would stop by just information on him from the Captain Spy and reports from others, not his ROOT ninjas.
'The main question is, how far he will go here to get information about me.'
Thinking of this, Akane decided to use Dream Manipulation when he got time to know of Danzo's plans. He planned on spreading Zetsu around to know about the Masked Guy, instead of looking for him with Orochimaru and Tsunade.
But this time, Akane didn't know that he had already delayed in his actions. Just when they had arrived in the camp, a ROOT Ninja had left the base, and it was in the direction of the heart of Rain village, where Hanzo stayed...
