Although Kartana had one-shotted the opponent's Hydreigon in a single move, and had even thrown the Master's earlier words right back at her.
The Master's expression showed not the slightest hint of anger or surprise. Instead, she burst into laughter.
"Julian, now you may witness the greatness of the Demon God's power."
As her words fell, something bizarre—almost horrifying—occurred.
The severed necks of the Hydreigon that Kartana had just decapitated suddenly began wriggling with rapidly growing flesh.
Bones, blood vessels, muscles—everything was reconstructing itself at terrifying speed.
In less than thirty seconds, Hydreigon's three heads had actually regrown completely.
And the three original heads that had fallen to the ground were still lying there.
If not for those three heads remaining there as proof, many people would have thought they were hallucinating and that Hydreigon had never died at all.
Hydreigon had three heads—left, center, and right—and all three heads possessed consciousness. However, the middle one served as the primary brain.
As long as the middle head remained intact, even if the left and right heads were lost, it would not die.
However, for the heads to regrow normally, special treasures were required.
Yet Julian and the countless people watching the livestream had seen with their own eyes as Kartana's single blade cleanly severed all three of Hydreigon's heads.
The creature had absolutely been dead just moments ago—its corpse even collapsed to the ground.
But as its heads grotesquely regrew, Hydreigon once again came back to life.
And not only that—its aura had actually surged dramatically.
Its level rising from 92 to 93.
Julian narrowed his eyes slightly and activated his Probing Eyes once again.
When he had examined the Dragonite earlier, it hadn't shown any indication of being able to resurrect from dead like this.

The notes had changed.
Earlier, when Julian examined the Dragonite, he had also checked the other twenty-nine Pokémon—their remaining lifespans had all been one month.
But now, Hydreigon had only one day left.
Looking at the other Pokémon, their remaining lifespans were still one month, and they did not have the fourth note.
This meant that the fourth note would only appear after dying once.
Meanwhile, Kartana was still standing with its back to the Master's Pokémon, thinking it had successfully pulled off a very cool pose.
But seeing the strange expressions on its companions' faces, it immediately sensed something was wrong.
Turning its head to look—its eyes nearly popped out.
The Hydreigon whose heads it had just sliced clean off had actually regrown them.
Kartana: 'Was I hypnotized? Am I seeing things?'
"Resurrection truly is a surprising ability. But if that's all there is to it, it just means killing it one more time."
Julian was surprised, but that was all.
If he could kill them once, then even if they revived stronger than before, he could simply kill them a second time.
Unless they could resurrect infinitely.
"Julian, let's see just how tough you really are. Attack!"
The Master wasted no more words with Julian. With an enraged shout, she mounted a Salamence, and the remaining twenty-nine pseudo-legendaries all charged toward Julian.
An overwhelming aura surged toward Julian like a tidal wave, and the immense pressure bore down like a mountain—the very air around them seemed to become as heavy as mercury.
Julian fixed his gaze on the ten peak Champion Pokémon.
As long as he dealt with these ten, the remaining twenty would be of no concern.
All thirty Pokémon opened their mouths simultaneously and unleashed Hyper Beam.
A full thirty Champion-level Hyper Beams erupted together, and among them were even attacks launched by peak Champion Pokémon.
The destructive power was absolutely earth-shattering, and the area of coverage was extremely wide.
Yet Julian's expression remained calm.
As the ten Champion-level Pokémon beside him stepped forward in unison—
Golden Hyper Beams collided against golden Hyper Beams.
Thirty versus ten.
The attacks from both sides collided in midair—and with a deafening explosion, a massive mushroom cloud rose into the sky while layer upon layer of shockwaves swept through the surroundings.
The two sides were evenly matched.
The thirty Pokémon were sent flying in all directions by the enormous blast wave—of course, several of Julian's Pokémon were also blown away by the shockwave.
But one Pokémon stood like a towering mountain, planted firmly in front of Julian.
No matter how fierce or terrifying the gale, it could never move a mountain.
"Aggron, go!"
Julian gave a light shout. The mountain-like Pokémon stepped forward, the horn on its forehead looking as though it could pierce through the very sky.
As it advanced, waves of immense energy rapidly wrapped around its body.
Giga Impact!
Its target were the four Tyranitar gathered together ahead.
"Kill Julian first!"
Although these Pokémon were all puppets of the Demon God and lacked most of their independent awareness, the Master could perfectly control all thirty of them with a single thought.
And these were thirty Champion-level Pokémon that felt no pain, feared no death, and could even resurrect.
Facing Aggron's Giga Impact, the four Tyranitar, under the Master's command, simultaneously used Stone Edge in response.
For giant Pokémon like Tyranitar and Aggron, speed was their weakness, so their best defense was always overwhelming offense.
Moreover, this was now a chaotic melee involving forty Champion-level Pokémon.
In such a situation, if the Tyranitar tried to dodge, Aggron's Giga Impact might instead crash into another allied Pokémon that was completely unprepared.
Among the four Tyranitar, one was a peak Champion, while the other three were mid-stage Champions.
Because of the numerical disadvantage, each of Julian's Pokémon was effectively fighting around three opponents on average.
Meanwhile, three peak Champion Pokémon were already charging straight toward Julian through the air.
They were Dragonite, Salamence, and Hydreigon.
In a life-or-death battle, the fastest way to victory wasn't to take down the opponent's ace Pokémon—it was to kill the trainer themselves.
