Julian and Myra stood opposite one another. The two stared at each other. There was no need for words.
Myra stretched her hand forward. The temperature rose. A small, orange-looking ball of flame formed on the tip of her right index finger. The flame expanded into a large ball of flames that blotted out the skies. It was as if a sun was blazing over the arena.
Terrifying, many thought. Her small figure seemed so mighty in the hearts of several in the audience.
Julian was not idle either. Tendrils of darkness swept outwards from his feet. The tendrils appeared above him. They merged into an extremely colossal blanket that blotted out the skies.
The flame ball, akin to a burning sun, and the blanket of darkness shot towards one another. In a moment, they collided. Shockwaves spread outwards. Orange light and darkness spilled everywhere. Eventually, the two attacks seemed to have consumed one another, extinguished.
