At the moment, Kailen Darkhaven was hated by all the major guilds in Everdawn City, and was wanted dead by the Insidious Assassin Syndicate.
Why, then, did the Lotus Assassin Syndicate ally themselves with him? Could they antagonise all these large guilds that hated him?
