Logan had been thinking about how to convince Layla to come home with him.
He wanted her to agree willingly, but he couldn't come up with a good enough reason. She kept trying to distance herself from him, and, whether he wanted to admit it or not, it hurt.
They arrived at her hostel, but she refused to invite him inside.
Logan, however, quickly came up with an excuse.
And she let him in.
He sat on her bed, thinking about his next move.
A few moments later, Layla came out of her small kitchen carrying a cup of tea.
"Here's your tea. Drink it and leave," she said without sparing him a glance.
Logan couldn't help but find everything about her cute.
She was feisty, stubborn, and constantly trying to keep him at a distance.
Yet somehow, he found it endearing.
Whenever she looked at him with those alluring eyes, he had to fight the urge to kiss her. Everything about her drew him in—her lips, her nose, her soft skin, and every little detail that made her uniquely Layla.
