Anya slowly sat back down on the chair, her fingers loosely intertwined together while Liam moved toward the large table nearby and sat on top of it casually facing her. The room had gone quiet again after their earlier conversation but the tension inside her still had not disappeared completely.
For a few seconds she just stared at the floor like she was debating whether to continue talking or not.
Then she sighed softly.
"I honestly don't know what I did," she admitted quietly. "Ever since they killed my father they've tried everything possible just to completely own me."
Liam's expression hardened slightly but he stayed quiet and let her continue.
Anya shook her head slowly before speaking again.
"They even made fake documents."
Liam raised a brow.
"What kind of documents?"
Her lips pressed together briefly before she answered.
"Documents saying my father transferred ownership of me to Draco before he died."
For one full second Liam simply stared at her.
