The Water Police Division, like the Traffic Police Division, operates under a single team with two signs. Although it is the Water Police Department of the City Bureau, there is little interaction between the river patrols and the traffic police onshore.
Director Wang and Political Commissioner Ma can only meet Director Xu and Political Commissioner Cui when attending meetings at the City Bureau. The officers from the division rarely have the chance to interact with the traffic police division.
Han Yu worked at the Water Police Station for a year and served as a committee member for two years, but like Ma Jintao, Yang Yuan, and other water police, he had no business dealings with the traffic police division. Now that he's transferred to the Smuggling Crime Investigation Branch, there's even less opportunity for interaction.
