Kai walked into the room, then he halted, taking in the scene before him. "What is he doing here? On my bed?"
Arthur didn't notice his presence, too preoccupied with the drawings he was making, sitting on top of Kai's bed.
I chuckled nervously, standing up from where I sat next to him to meet Kai. "So you know, after the fire incident when you said we would move into your condo, I thought we could bring Arthur along."
My mate stared at me, exasperated. "No. He is not coming with us."
Kai had been so scared by the incident that he decided we should move in together for my security. It was more like him keeping an eye on me. "Please?" I pouted my lips. Arthur had begged me, latching onto me.
"Please don't leave me. I'll be good. Don't go. Take me with you." I couldn't say no. I could never say no to him after seeing all that he had experienced.
