Chapter 331 - Chapter 328~ Primary Colours and Chakra Anchor

Ryu opened his eyes. The vast white expanse of the dreamscape stretched endlessly around him.

A figure materialised a short distance away—Kiyomizu Otsutsuki, white robes pristine.

"Shall we begin?"

Sensory training without relying on sight. Ryu recognised it immediately—like training in Observation Haki, just with a different power system and core method.

"I'm ready," Ryu said, closing his eyes.

Kiyomizu raised his hand. A shape materialised between them—a perfect chakra sphere, lightly glowing.

"Tell me what you sense."

Ryu tried to feel it with chakra sensing instead of sight.

"A sphere. About thirty centimetres across."

"Good."

The sphere changed its shape to a cube.

"Cube. Similar size at the same place."

The test escalated. Cylinders, pyramids, cones, irregular blobs. Kiyomizu said nothing, correcting only when Ryu hesitated or named the shape a fraction too slow.

After a while, Kiyomizu lowered his hand.

"Now, imagine the shape along with a colour. You may assign them in your imagination—the colour you choose does not matter to me."

Ryu opened his eyes. "Which colour should I choose?"

"The colour itself is irrelevant. But for you, it would be easier if you selected one that has good contrast, similar to the opposing nature of Yin and Yang. High contrast aids memory and mental visualisation."

Ryu's mind spun up automatically. Contrast. Opposites. Yin and Yang.

He thought of screens, projectors, and LED panels.

"RGB. Red, green, blue. The primary colours of light. I'll make the imaginary canvas in my mind blue. That leaves red and green for Yin and Yang. With three colours as the base, I can access as many ratio combinations as possible when different levels of Yin and Yang appear together."

"I'll use three base colours," Ryu said. "Imaginary canvas in my mind as blue, Yin as red, Yang as green. That way I can track different ratios when they appear together."

"Okay , now try to guess the colour," Kiyomizu said.

Ryu closed his eyes.

Kiyomizu flicked his fingers. A sphere appeared.

Sphere. Yin core, Yang shell.

"Green sphere. Yellow at the centre."

A cube. Different pressure signature.

"Green cube. Yellow at core due to red yin chakra."

A pyramid.

"A red pyramid."

The pace increased. Ryu's brain mapped shapes, colours assigned to chakras, and chakra qualities into a three-axis system.

"Now, detect movement," Kiyomizu said.

A new shape spawned in front of Ryu, then began to glide sideways.

Ryu tracked it. "Left to right..."

"Again."

More shapes appeared. Three at once, moving in different directions—one circling, one closing in, and one retreating.

Ryu split his focus, assigning one thread per object, calling out positions without conscious thought.

"A red sphere circling behind. Green cube advancing from the front. Yellow pyramid retreating."

The complexity ramped up. Five shapes. Seven. Ten. Ryu's focus narrowed, tracking each thread—

A red sphere shot directly at his head from outside his awareness.

Ryu jerked sideways. The sphere grazed past his temple, the phantom pressure brushing his skin.

Kiyomizu's voice came, firm but not unkind. "Telling yourself where things are is harder than you think, isn't it?"

"The blind don't have that luxury. For them, this sense is survival—not a training exercise. Train as if your life depends on it—because one day, it will."

"Again."

Shapes moved. This time, Ryu didn't narrate. He felt a sphere approaching from the left, a cube retreating to the right, and a pyramid circling above. His body shifted slightly, tracking without conscious thought.

The sphere veered toward him again.

Ryu tilted his head. The sphere passed where his face had been a heartbeat earlier.

"Better now. Keep practising in the real world."

The training continued. Shapes moved faster and more erratically. Ryu's accuracy improved incrementally—missing more than he caught at first, then catching more than he missed.

By the time Kiyomizu stopped, Ryu could track seven moving shapes simultaneously without conscious effort. Roughly two hours had passed.

"Good. Your parallel processing gives you an advantage most lack. Use it wisely."

"You learn quickly. Faster than anyone I have trained in decades. Your dedication is impressive."

"Thank you."

Kiyomizu reached into his robes and produced a scroll.

"This is for the Iburi Clan. A seal designed to help them gather and channel Yang chakra faster and with less effort. It will aid their training, helping them stabilise their smoke form."

Ryu took the scroll, examining the intricate seal patterns.

- [Yang Stabilisation Seal] memorised – This seal helps in Yang chakra gathering and channelling pathways. Training aid. Makes the process faster and easier for those still learning. Won't help someone already trained in Yang manipulation.

"It increases training efficiency, but it is not a solution without hard work. They must still train, still discipline their chakra. This merely... smooths the path while they learn."

"I understand. Thank you. Please thank Master Taro as well."

Kiyomizu inclined his head.

"I will."

A small smile crossed Ryu's face. "I also have something for you. But I can't deliver it in a dream."

Interest flickered across Kiyomizu's features. "The communication device?"

"Yes. Dedicated network, separate channel. On the Moon, it only connects to other Moon devices or mine. On Earth, your people can reach each other, me, or communicate back to the Moon. No external interference."

"That would be invaluable. It would let us stay in contact with our people on Earth missions without relying on the Tenseigan Energy Vessel. Even a small reduction in that burden would be welcome."

Kiyomizu straightened slightly, his expression turning more serious. "Speaking of the vessel—when will you be visiting the moon to assess and analyse the Tenseigan Energy Vessel?"

"Soon."

"Then we should arrange your visit. Tomorrow night would be ideal—the sooner we address the vessel's inefficiencies, the better."

"Will you teleport me?"

"Yes. Advanced space-time ninjutsu linked to the Tenseigan. We can bring you directly to the Moon."

Ryu frowned, considering the logistics. "It will be difficult. ANBU trail me constantly. If we're keeping this secret, I need to do it without anyone noticing."

"The ANBU have established a perimeter around your home, but they are not allowed to enter. We can teleport you directly from your room at night without being seen."

"What about sensors? They can detect my chakra signature. If I suddenly disappear, it will raise alarms."

Kiyomizu's expression turned thoughtful and silent as he considered the problem.

Ryu's eyes lit up as a solution formed. "I've been training my Yin-Yang chakra control. I can form stable chakra constructs now. If I leave one behind as a decoy—something that mimics my chakra signature—the sensors won't notice I'm gone."

Kiyomizu's eyebrows rose slightly. "A chakra construct sophisticated enough to fool sensory barriers? That would require exceptional control."

"It is possible. But there would be a time limit. The construct would eventually exhaust itself."

"How long?"

Ryu considered, running calculations. "Depends on how much chakra I use to form it. A few hours, perhaps. Maybe less if a skilled sensor actively probes it."

Kiyomizu nodded slowly. "A few hours would be sufficient for a short visit. Nighttime works perfectly—we can assess the Tenseigan Energy Vessel, discuss improvements, and return you before the construct fails."

Ryu nodded. "The window should work. Can I bring Akihiro? This would be valuable experience for him."

"Yes." Kiyomizu nodded. "But his chakra will also be missed if he disappears. What will you do?"

"Akihiro hasn't trained in Yin-Yang construct formation yet. But if I can create a seal that replicates the function..."

He'd already catalogued the [Yang Stabilisation] Seal's structure in complete detail.

An idea formed, sharp and clear.

He smiled. "I have a solution."

Ryu pulled out a blank seal tag and placed it flat before him, then activated his abilities.

-[Fast Thinking] active

-[Parallel Thinking] active

-[Temporary Enhance] active

-[Overclocking] enabled

Combine the [Yang Stabilisation] Seal's channelling with the [Chakra Backup] Seal's storage. Add construct formation and signature replication. A seal that creates the construct automatically.

-Deconstructing [Yang Stabilisation Seal]

-Deconstructing [Chakra Backup Seal]

-Integrating hybrid functionsProgress: 20%... 50%... 80%... 100%

-[Yang Anchor Seal] created

Function: Automatically creates a self-sustaining Yin-Yang construct that mimics the user's chakra signature. Duration depends on the chakra stored in the seal. When depleted, the seal becomes inactive and the construct dissipates gradually.

"Every invention is just old ideas arranged in new ways. The genius is in seeing which pieces fit together."

His brush moved in the physical dreamscape, translating the blueprint into reality. Yang channelling pathways merged with the storage core, with a stabilisation framework wrapping around both and signature replication formulas spiralling through the centre and construct formation protocols embedded in the trigger mechanism.

The seal became a dense web of runes, patterns interconnecting. Minutes passed in focused silence—Ryu's hand steady despite the mental strain, Kiyomizu observing every stroke with the patience of someone who had trained for centuries.

When Ryu finished, the seal glowed faintly.

"Done."

When [Overclocking] was deactivated, mental fatigue crashed over him like a wave.

"Insert some chakra in this seal," Ryu asked.

Kiyomizu placed his hand on the seal, channelling chakra. The tag flared, absorbing the energy.

Ryu activated the construct formation sequence.

The seal pulsed. Chakra erupted upward—structured, controlled. A miniature sphere of chakra formed, hovering just above the seal tag. The sphere itself was encased in a translucent containment vessel covered in glowing seal patterns, rotating slowly like a contained star.

Kiyomizu's breath caught. His hand trembled slightly—the first uncontrolled movement Ryu had ever seen from him.

Ryu saw the tremor and understood its weight. Kiyomizu never lost control. That single trembling hand said more than words could.

"Remarkable."

Ryu said, "This seal automatically creates a chakra construct matching the user's output—amount, frequency, rhythm. Everything a sensor would detect. Even someone like Akihiro, who can't form constructs manually yet, can use this."

"How long will it last?"

Ryu frowned, running calculations. "With the chakra stored in this test seal? Six to eight hours if left alone. Under active probing by a skilled sensor, maybe four hours. When the reserves deplete, the seal becomes inactive and the construct disperses gradually."

Kiyomizu nodded slowly. "A significant window. Sufficient for what we need."

"I'll prepare two seals for tomorrow. One with my chakra stored, one with Akihiro's."

"You have until tomorrow night. Will that be sufficient?"

"More than enough."

Ryu saw another application. "This will also help the Iburi Clan."

Kiyomizu's expression shifted, intrigued. "How?"

"When they transform, their physical form becomes scattered Yin chakra. This seal can create a Yang anchor inside their body—a beacon. The scattered Yin naturally gravitates toward it because of the attractive nature between Yin and Yang. Faster reformation, more stable structure."

Kiyomizu was silent for a moment, considering the implications.

Then his expression became serious and firm. "They should not rely completely on this seal. Learning to create these anchors themselves is essential. Dependency on tools is dangerous—without them, they would be nothing. This should be a training aid, not a permanent solution."

Ryu said, "You're correct. But it will give the younger children a foundation to build from. They can feel what a proper anchor is like, then work toward creating it themselves."

He paused, then smirked. "Maybe I should surprise them with a visit."

Kiyomizu said, "I thought your chakra control was monstrous, but your fuinjutsu skills are equally monstrous."

Ryu replied, "It's my bloodline ability."

"The mental bloodline," Kiyomizu thought. " Its unheard of, but it explains everything—the intelligence, the innovations, the impossible rate of mastery. A bloodline of the mind rather than the body…. It was right not to make him an enemy."

Ryu's smile widened. "I'm glad you see it that way. I'd rather not fight an entire civilisation of blind warriors with god-tier sensory abilities."

The dreamscape began to fade, dissolving into golden light.

"I will see you tomorrow," Kiyomizu said, his form fragmenting into particles. "In person this time."

"Tomorrow."

The world dissolved.

Morning light filtered through the window when Ryu opened his eyes again. He sat up, stretching. The dreamscape training had lasted only two hours before dissolving—he'd fallen back into proper sleep afterward. The rest had helped, but traces of mental strain remained.

He glanced at his hands, remembering the seal he'd created in the dream.

"Tomorrow I will visit the moon. The Tenseigan Energy Vessel needs improvement, and beyond that, the Otsutsuki civil war—a conflict I can still prevent if I move carefully."

After this Ryu slept for real this time.

Every seal he'd created lately—[BodyGPT], [InstinctGPT], [Chakra Backup], and now this [Yang Anchor Seal]—solved immediate problems. Individual solutions to individual challenges.

He couldn't see it yet. But they were pieces—components in something larger.

When that system is complete, the shinobi world will never be the same.
