She placed both the cup and fruit plate on the table and pushed them toward Mo Shian.

"Thank you, baby." Mo Shian said with a smile that almost caused Xia Weiwei's heart to stop.
Seriously, her brain must have been kicked by a donkey to have fought against such a handsome and loving husband in her past life. She almost wanted to slap herself.
Mo Shian picked up the glass of milk and drank the contents in one gulp. He actually didn't like milk, but since it was given to him by his beloved wife, even if it was poison, he would be happy to drink it.
He picked up a strawberry and brought it to Xia Weiwei's mouth to feed her. He was actually a little nervous. He didn't know if she would eat something he had given her, especially using his hands, but he was willing to try.
If she refused, he would just eat it himself, but to his delight, Xia Weiwei didn't reject him and opened her mouth to eat the strawberry.
After feeding her a couple more she rejected the rest and asked him to eat.
"You should eat the rest. I'll go to bed, don't work too late. Try to rest early as work isn't going anywhere. You will still have work tomorrow no matter how much you work today."
"Alright, I'll just finish two of the most urgent documents and then come to bed. Go to sleep first." Mo Shian was happy that Xia Weiwei was now worrying about him.
So, he decided to go to bed after only finishing two documents. He was the boss anyway and even if he lost one or two contracts, it wasn't a big deal. He didn't want his wife to worry.
Xia Weiwei picked up the now-empty cup and took it back to the kitchen before going to bed.

Soon enough Xia Weiwei settled down and went into a deep sleep. As long as Mo Shian was close to her and she could feel his warmth and smell his unique scent, she would be comforted.
The next morning, when Xia Weiwei woke up, Mo Shian was already gone. She stretched her hand, picked up her phone from the bedside table, and checked the time.
It was already 8.30 am. She had overslept and no one woke her up. It must have been Mo Shian who asked Aunt Wu not to disturb her.
She got up and stretched her muscles before going to the bathroom to freshen up. Her period was gone and she felt much better and more comfortable.
