He didn't wait for the demons to reach the threshold; he knew that to defend the Sky Queen, they had to dye the fields outside the barrier black with demonic ichor.
"For the Alliance! For the Queen!" Verdant roared, his blade glowing with a fierce, emerald light.
The Clash of Titans: Giants vs. Iron-Bound Reavers
The ground shuddered with a rhythmic, bone-deep thrumming as the Highland Giants stepped beyond the barrier. Standing thirty feet tall, clad in slabs of enchanted granite, they were the living walls of Westeros.
Opposing them were the Iron-Bound Reavers—demons twice the size of a man, their flesh fused with jagged, black Netherlands steel. They moved with a twitching, unnatural speed, their eyes glowing with the violet light of Negative Mana.
