It didn't take long before we arrived at the company dormitory. The place was only about a twenty-minute walk from the company itself, which was convenient enough, and from what I gathered, it wasn't some fancy staff housing either—just a regular apartment complex where employees could rent rooms at a much cheaper rate than anywhere else.
The building was large, the kind that stretched wider than it looked at first glance, packed with rooms. From what I could tell, each resident had one or two rooms to themselves, along with a private bathroom. Not luxurious, but definitely not bad.
My security guard residence though, was a completely different story.
It wasn't even part of the main dormitory. Just a small standalone house off to the side—one bedroom, a tiny kitchen and a bathroom.
"Alright, boy."
The secretary—Kim, as I'd later learned her name—spoke like she was issuing orders to a stray dog she'd reluctantly decided not to kick.
