The anomalies, which occurred less than a day after the deafening rumble that announced the beginning of the Third Disaster, were gaining strength by the hour.
A day after the anomalies appeared, members of the Kingdom Guild began evacuating residents of the two cities closest to the Northern and Eastern Anomalies.
As the anomalies spread rapidly, there was little time left. The evacuation began in the dead of night and was already in full swing by the next morning.
Arabel, unlike the previous day, did not close her eyes, carefully watching the evacuation process with Leo, despite all the persuasions to rest.
They regularly shared with the rest of the Guild members new information about anomalies and what was happening in other parts of the Federation.
"This is the third one," Arabel said sadly, looking at the area covered by the Western Anomaly, where there used to be a dot with the name of the city.
