"Young man, Lady Livia wishes to take a look at you."
In a matter of seconds, the eyes of everyone in the bar turned to Ryan. He remained unperturbed, calmly looking the envoy straight in the eyes. There was no fear or surprise in his gaze, which certainly startled her.
"Livia?" frowned Idan, sitting at the bar.
And at that moment, the bartender's voice immediately rang out in his head.:
"Livia Vermilion, a member of the Ashen Seraphim race. One of the five Council members of the Golden Fire Faction, under the command of Auremia."
"Why would such an important person be interested in an ordinary third—rank Contractor?" wondered Idan, turning to Prina and asking her.
"Sure, Ryan is handsome, but not that handsome?"
"Yes, you're right," — Prina agreed. "He's handsome, it's true, but not that handsome. It's just that he stands out from all the people here."
"If you compare the two of you, you're much more handsome than him," Prina added.
