The moment Rael arrived, he saw something he wasn't exactly expecting. Uriel's house, the same house Rael had actually kind of disliked on the outside but liked on the inside, was now lit aflame.
As for Uriel and Solenne, the two of them seemed to be underground. They ran across some type of sewage system, and as for the people who set their house on fire, they were seemingly walking around, looking to find something in the rubble.
If Rael had to guess, Solenne went ahead and found the cure to cancer. Not literally, of course, but she must've made such a great breakthrough by this world's standards that these idiots had no choice but to take action and try to kill her.
Rael recognized it, since the same used to happen back in his world. Or rather, Altros's world. Rael wasn't having an identity crisis, but he did feel weird referring to himself as Rael when he actually wasn't.
