As the last assailant was captured Zeeshan's voice boomed on microphone:-
Four assailants break the Singhania security. One killed three captured. Security secure the premises. Emergency meeting now in an hour in the backyard. Check for any explosives or poisons.. List casualties Over and out.
Security immediately came into action. Servants and other crew were lined up. Headcounts started. Shaun got nurses and his juniors to take vitals of everyone.
At that moment
Panic door opened and Rash walked out.
" ZEESHU", she hicupped.
" My queen", he teared up
She ran into his arms and started wailing loudly.
Rash felt so tired and scared. Adrenaline of the fight left her body. She was drained out. She wanted Jeet. But he was not in the country right now. Looking at Zeeshu she had a meltdown.
Jeet was scared now..
" Rash", he said weakly. " What happened sweetheart"?
She looked at him with guarded eyes..
" Mr. Singhania", she said weakly.
Damn he forgot..!
" You won't even let me comfort you", he said looking hurt. " You were hurt in my house. You are here on my request Cut me some slack if I am worried about you", he said with self derision.
" I am not hurt. I am fine", she said .
" You don't look fine to me", he said.
" I. I.. just a bit emotional.. All this..", she moved her hands showing the unconscious man.." Oh God! Is he dead?"
" Just knocked out", said Zeeshu. " He won't die easily".
She shivered. Zeeshu rubbed his hands over her shoulders.
" Are you cold", he asked.
She shook her head but hid in his arms.
" I don't want to look at him", she whispered weakly. " I am not well".
" SECURITY REMOVE HIM", ordered Zeeshan.
It was done immediately.
" How is Chi Chi", she asked.
" She is fine. Just collapsed. Shaun is with her", replied Zeeshu.
" Ohh God I need to see her", she moved fast but because of all the excitement she swayed holding her head.
She was about to fall when someone held her.
" ENOUGH WITH THIS TOUGH ACT", hissed Jeet. He picked her up.
" I can walk", she argued.
" We all saw that", he mocked her
She narrowed her eyes.
" I am helping you as a good Samaritan ", he said.
She snorted.
" If you are good Samaritan I am Queen of England ", she said sarcastically.
He chuckled.
" You really are very interesting ", he said. " I bet his highness never has a boring day with you", then lowering his voice he said.." or night".
Her mouth opened in a perfect ' O'.
She looked really cute thought Jeet.
" That is my room", she pointed. " You can put me down now".
Like f*ck he will thought Jeet.
He walked in with her. He gently laid her on bed.
He looked around then pour her a glass of water.
" Drink", he ordered.
" I said I am fine",:she seethed.
" I'll be the judge of that", he sneered back.
She sipped water quietly. She peeped at him. He was looking at her intently.
" Okay now", she said.
He didn't speak a word and quietly touched her forehead.
He dialled a number.
" Hello", answered Shaun. Jeet thought he was in a bad mood.
" Josef where are you"? Everything alright "?
" Everything is fine. I am in your study. Your wife is here. She is awake now ", he said.
" I'll be there in five. After that haul your ass to Rash's room and check her vitals", he said.
" I said I am...", she shut her mouth looking at him.
He digged daggers at her. She looked at him keenly.
" Sure Dragon ", she heard Shaun.
" Why", she whispered but he heard.
Her indifference infuriated him.
He melted down too...
" WHY", he hissed. " Because unlike you and him I don't go around sleeping with everyone around me and call it an open relationship. You got wrong information about me. I caught feelings for you. Go ahead. Sue me or Mock me".
Tears came out of her eyes.
" Damn", he said. " Sorry".
He took her face in his hands.
" I am an a b*stard", he said. " Stop crying".
" I don't want to hurt Chi Chi", she cried. " I never said I..I.. please don't; not now ", she hicupped.
" Ssshhh it's okay", he said. " I'll send Qureshi", he said.
But she hugged him and cried softly in his arms. She felt an overwhelming sense of comfort there. She was doomed. She broke ONE RULE Jeet gave her. Sumeet hugged her tightly too.
" I have fallen for you", he whispered in her ears.
" No Sumeet no", she cried weakly. He kissed her softly on her lips. She didn't fight just kissed him back.
" Don't do it please", she begged.
He stopped.
" I won't let you run away from your feelings Rash. Not for Chanchal. And definitely not for his Highness",.
He rose and then left quietly shutting her door.
This was a complete meltdown for Rash.
Meanwhile
Shaun was in his own personal meltdown
" Chanchal you are married to a mafia. You are not one", he said in a hoarse tone. " Why do you have to jump in the line of fire? What if the bullet hit you? Do I look like I am made of stone? How heartless you are!"
" Dr. J.Josef..S.Shaun", she held him.
Megha has told him everything before she passed out of blood loss. She was now in ICU recuperating.

He looked at her his face filled with tears.

It was at that moment Dragon called...
" Your husband is coming. I will have a word with him", he hissed.
Jeet entered as Dragon then completely in a foul mood.
" S.sir", she said.
" Dragon may I have a word ", said Shaun.
" Josef if it's not important..", he began.
Shaun Erupted...
" NOT IMPORTANT. .OHH YES IT F*CKING IS..HOW ABOUT THE MATTER OF YOUR WIFE'S LIFE..F*CKING IMPORTANT ENOUGH YOU IMPOTENT ".
" Sir I am sorry ", cried Chanchal.
" Pet what happened "?
Shaun was not in a mood to compromise. He said,
" She walked in the line of fire ignoring Megha's warnings so that Megha gets a clear shot at those f*ckers.."
He stopped for a breath as Sumeet let out and expletive.
" Her own life. Who the hell cares??Right Chanchal", sneered Shaun.
" I am sorry", she cried.
" Josef".
" Knock some sense in her Dragon before I lose my sh*t. And you know f*cking well if I do...what I am capable of", said Shaun.
Then composing himself he asked,
" Where is Rash"?
" Panic room", was his answer.
He picked up his bag, saluted Dragon and left.
There was a pin drop silence in the room.
Dragon glared at his wife.
Chanchal stood up calmly.
" I know everyone is angry with me", she said.
" Which is justified ", he said softly.
She nodded.
" But I couldn't let them escape", she said.
" Why the hell so"?
" Because they attacked my home. This is Dragon's place. I am your wife", she said in a strong voice. " They messed with us. Now the world will see the consequences that follow. I am not afraid sir. Not anymore "...
Dark Queen's unflinching eyes met that of her lord.
