Kuroyami leaned back, resting his sword lazily against his shoulder.
"...You want me to fight you?"
Sirzechs Lucifer, the strongest Devil in the Underworld, smiled as if he had just invited Kuroyami out for tea.
"That's correct."
Rias froze. "Onii-sama! Are you serious?"
Sirzechs turned to her. "Of course. Someone who can casually overpower Riser… I'd be foolish to ignore such talent."
Rias hesitated. She knew her brother. When Sirzechs got serious, things escalated quickly.
Kuroyami smirked. "Alright."
Rias' eyes widened. "What?!"
Kuroyami rolled his shoulders. "Been a while since I had a proper fight. Why not?"
Sirzechs' eyes gleamed. "I was hoping you'd say that."
With a wave of his hand, a magic circle expanded beneath them.
WHOOSH!
The scenery shifted.
A Battlefield Fit for Monsters
Kuroyami and Sirzechs appeared in a massive wasteland, mountains stretching far into the distance.
A secure location, away from civilization.
Rias and the others were watching from a barrier in the sky, created by Sirzechs himself.
Issei gulped. "T-This is crazy! Does Kuroyami even stand a chance?!"
Akeno giggled. "Ara~ This is quite thrilling~"
Kiba crossed his arms. "Sirzechs-sama isn't just a Devil King. He's considered the strongest Devil alive."
Koneko muttered, "Scary."
Rias remained silent, watching intensely.
Sirzechs hovered in the air, his long crimson hair flowing behind him. His warm smile remained, but the pressure in the air was suffocating.
"Kuroyami-kun, I'll warn you—I won't hold back."
Kuroyami smirked, gripping his sword. "That's what I was hoping for."
The air crackled.
A storm of energy erupted between them.
The Fight Begins
BOOM!
Sirzechs vanished.
Kuroyami's eyes flickered.
Behind me.
WHOOSH!
Sirzechs appeared in an instant, his hand crackling with destructive energy.
BAAANG!
A massive explosion of Power of Destruction engulfed Kuroyami.
Rias gasped. "K-Kuroyami?!"
Issei panicked. "HE GOT HIT ALREADY?!"
The smoke cleared—
And Kuroyami stood there. Completely unharmed.
His smirk widened. "That all?"
Sirzechs' eyes gleamed. "Interesting."
Kuroyami swung his sword.
FWOOOOOOSH!
A massive slash of dark energy ripped through the battlefield, splitting the ground.
Sirzechs lifted a hand—
BOOM!
The attack exploded against his aura, dispersing harmlessly.
Sirzechs chuckled. "You're strong."
Kuroyami grinned. "You haven't seen anything yet."
He gripped his sword tightly.
Mana surged through his body.
Yami Sukehiro's Power Unleashed
"Dark Cloaked Dimension Slash."
Kuroyami swung.
A thin, pitch-black slash cut through space itself.
Sirzechs' eyes widened. "That—"
SHRRRRIP!
The very fabric of reality split apart.
Sirzechs barely dodged, the edge of his cape getting erased by the attack.
Rias and the others stared in disbelief.
Kiba muttered, "That… that wasn't just cutting energy."
Akeno's eyes shone. "He sliced through space itself."
Sirzechs looked at his torn cape, then back at Kuroyami.
Then—
He smiled.
"Fascinating."
He lifted a single hand.
"Let me show you… true destruction."
A sphere of pure Power of Destruction formed in his palm.
Kuroyami's smirk never faded.
This was about to get fun.
