We return to the moment when Larvan entered the door together with the guide exiting the Land - HSH.
Land - The Guides Quartes.
When they both fully entered, the door shut and disappeared behind them.
The guide turned to look at Larvan.
"Now, where were we?" -The Guide said, tilting her head with a playful smile.
Larvan stares at the guide with her knowing, playful smile, awaiting to see what she will say next.
"About killing the cleaners being meaningless, well, it's because they are an immortal existence within the Ever halls, that is the very reason why it is meaningless." -The Guide explained, with a gentle smile tilting her head slightly.
Eyes widened at what he heard, Larvan thought of the keyword "within the Ever Halls".
But then, suddenly, as if reading Lavran's mind, the guide told him and cut off his thought.
"I know what you're thinking, you thought that if you could manage to lure them or take them out of the Ever Halls, then they could be killed, it's not a bad plan, but they can't get out, not until they are pushed out of the Ever Halls themselves." -The guide said with a solemn smile.
The two talked for an unknown amount of time, Larvan asking question after question, the guide answering them all.
And so, when Larvan is finally satisfied, wishing to go out, he looked around, trying to find the door he went through from the beginning, and remembering what had happened, he checked the tattoo near his heart.
He willed the key to show on his palm, and watched as the tattoo slowly moved to his palm and the key manifested out of Larvan's palm.
Larvan held the key, pointed it in front of him, turned it like unlocking something, then the key slowly transformed and melded into a door.
"Hehe.
With how crazy it has been, a key turning into a door is the most normal thing that has ever happened." -Larvan chuckled, then thought.
He grasped the doorknob, then opened the door, and Larvan looked back at the guide.
"Will I ever see you again?" -Larvan asked with a solemn smile.
The guide's eyes widened while still maintaining her smile.
"Well, that's up to you, mister Larvan." -The guide replied with a kind smile.
Larvan smiled, guessed her reply, and continued to walk out the door.
The world outside The Ever Plain's
The clear sky showed on the rooftop of the company building like time had never moved.
Larvan looked back at the door as he closed it, and the door returned to being a key, then a tattoo as Larvan willed it, but this time, he hid his tattoo behind his head, where his hair would cover it lest someone recognize it and cause trouble.
Haa...
Larvan sighed and continued his break from work to organize all that had happened.
Tap.Tap.Tap.Tap.Tap.
Larvan hears footsteps coming from the building door.
He was sure that the door blocked sound coming from both sides, but then remembered that he was no longer a regular person.
Click!
Larvan hears the door open and looks back at it.
"Oh. Hi, was I bothering you?" -The woman said shily.
Larvan blinked, then smiled.
"No, not at all." -Larvan replied.
Larvan's gaze returned to the clear sky and faced the wind with eyes closed.
The woman walked towards Larvan and stood next to him, leaning on the railings, while watching the bustling city and clear sky.
"Beautiful, don't you think so?" -The woman said with a smile, then tilted her head and looked at Larvan to ask.
Larvan opened his eyes and looked at the woman beside her with only his eyes.
"This woman, we were both recruited at the same time, I believe her name was Ael Acinej, she looked familiar, where have I seen her before? Never mind." -Larvan thought.
"Yeah, it is." -Larvan closed his eyes and replied nonchalantly, basking in the wind and sun.
Ael looked at Larvan curiously, as if trying to find or figure out something, watching him intently.
Larvan, feeling her gaze, opened his eyes and looked only with his eyes.
As if she had confirmed something.
"You forgot about me.
Didn't you?" -Ael said while smiling solemnly.
Larvan didn't say anything, only trying to remember who she was as she was very familiar to him.
"2 and a half years, and you forgot about us just like that?" -Ael asked with a sad smile.
Larvan, now remembering who she was, didn't react at all and returned his gaze back into the skies where clouds had gathered and formed shapes.
"I didn't forget our time together, I merely forgot the person I was with, your face, your name, your voice, your warmth, your smile, all I knew was we were happy." -Larvan replied, smiling contentedly.
Ael's eyes widened, and she was speechless at what Larvan said.
"Never forgetting our times together, yet forgetting the person you were with, what a unique way of moving on." -Ael said with a solemn smile.
Click!
"Oh. Hehe. Did I disturb you two?" -An old, playful, mature man's voice asked.
Larvan didn't notice as he was so immersed in his memories, so when the man said something, both of them looked in the direction of the voice.
It was a blond senior co-worker with an unlit cigar in his mouth and a lighter in his right hand.
Ael was about to reply when Larvan beat her to it.
"No, not at all, senior Rodavlas." -Larvan replied with a smile.
Rodavlas continued entering and chuckled. He walked towards them while trying to light his cigar on his mouth.
"Good, cause the rooftop is the only good place for a cigar break." -Rodavlas said while still trying to light his cigar.
Rodavlas managed to light his cigar as he was close to the two, and stood next to Ael, leaning on the railing with his back to shield his cigar from the wind. He took a deep puff and blew smoke from his mouth.
Both Larvan and Ael watched Rodavlas as he did so, and looked back to face the view in front.
Time went on as silence filled the rooftop the sounds of the wind, birds, and cars were heard.
The work break was over as Larvan went in first, followed by Ael and Rodavlas Last after finishing his smoke.
...
Afterwards, Larvan resigned after finishing his work, without giving any reason.
He walks the streets with weights lifted off his chest.
Boom!!!
Boom!!
An explosion, followed by thunder and lightning
The ground trembled, and Larvan felt it was unnatural, used his item to externalize his sense of direction and pinpoint the location of the explosion.
With the help of his item and will, he ran quickly. He would have liked to run on walls or jump from building to building, but Larvan was not confident he could control his speed and strength to do those moves while his left arm was still injured, and an accident might happen due to a lack of experience, so he just ran.
Boom!!
Boom!!!
Rawr!!!!!
As Larvan was nearing the location, explosions and the sound of a beast were heard. As he arrived near the desolate parking lot next to a famous eatery that should have been crowded with people, he saw six people and a bear like Everbeast standing on two legs as big as a house.
Larvan's senses warn him of the danger of the Everbeast, and instinctively, he backs away and hides as he watches. It wasn't targeting him, and yet he could feel it throughout his body, even without using his item to externalize his sixth sense. He could tell the dangers of the beast.
"What is that?
It's much stronger than the Everbeast I fought." -Larvan thought as he focused.
Rawr!!!!!
The Everbeast shouts a deafening roar, disorienting Larvan, but it looks like the six people who were battling the beast were not at all affected and waited for an opening.
Boom!!!
The Everbeast slams its two paws on the ground, creating a quake as it smashes the ground, followed by spikes of rampart coming from the ground around the beast, trying to pierce its enemies.
"Look out! Careful!" -The person who looked like the leader shouted.
The six people barely dodged and were slightly injured.
"Is it set up and ready?!" -The person who looked like the leader asked.
"Ready!!!" -The five replied, enduring the injury.
"Start!!" -The person who looked like the leader asked.
As the leader shouted, raising his right arm with the silver bracelet held by his left arm, thunder and lightning struck down on the beast.
silver bracelet
Rawr!!!!!
As the beast was paralyzed for a time and shouted in pain, a woman with an antique looking necklace, who was part of the group, raised both her hands, and plants sprouted behind each member, transforming into trees. If looked at from an angle, the six of them formed a hexagon with the beast in the middle.
After the tree was formed, another woman holding a tangle rope did something and controlled the rope, flung the end of the rope towards the beast's limb, looping around it, and controlled it back to loop around the tree behind her, and did it again on another limb, but tied it to the tree behind her other team member, repeating the process like the rope was never ending, until the beast was all tied up and could hardly move.
Doing it all in a matter of minutes, the leader put down his arms, sweating as he caught his breath.
The Everbeast moved its body, trying to free itself from its bounds, and the trees shook like it was being pulled out, but the man with leather boots, who was a part of the group, stomped his feet on the ground, gritting his teeth, and the ground moved to hold the trees in place as the man stayed in the stance.
Then a man with a neck bracelet controlled all of the leaves of the six trees, covering the beast and multiplying the leaves continuously, followed by the leader again striking thunder and lightning, burning the leaves together with the beast, and lastly another woman with a fan, fanning her group, creating a wind like barrier each, then on the beast, creating a tornado, combinning it with the burning leaves that is continuesly multiplying a fire tornado was created.
Rawr!!!
Rawr!!
Rawr!!!!!
The Everbeast is roaring in agony as it struggles in pain, trying to break free from its bonds. The man with leather boots stays his stance, sweating, trying to keep the trees from being pulled, and the fire tornado gathers the clouds.
Meanwhile, Larvan is watching all of this unfold, and sees the group's leader raising his right arm with the silver bracelet held by his left arm, Larvan unconsciously externalizes his sixth sense, pointing an arrow upwards, and realizing this, he uses all his strength and will to run away as fast as he can, gritting his teeth.
Crack!!!!!
Clap!!!!!
Boom!!!!!
Rumble!!!!!
A bright light flashed, passed by Larvan like a camera taking a picture, followed by a devastatingly loud sound of thunder and lightning, and the ground shaking, with the shockwave flinging Larvan down the ground.
"What the heck just happened?!" -Larvan thought as he lay on the ground.
As it looked like it was over, he stood up and looked behind him, eyes wide open, seeing where the group was and the devastation reaching this far, he no longer tried to go back to the group and ran home directly.
