Chapter 99 - Chapter 99 – The Convergence of the Heavens (Part 1)

The world was changing.

Not slowly.

Not subtly.

But before everyone's eyes.

From the deserts of the Western Region to the sacred mountains of the Central Region, the sky had begun to crack like ancient glass unable to withstand the increasing pressure between the two universes. Gigantic fissures appeared and disappeared above the clouds, releasing waves of unknown energy that altered the climate, natural qi, and even the behavior of the Gu beasts.

Black rains began to fall in some regions.

In others, entire rivers dried up overnight.

Spiritual mountains crumbled for no apparent reason.

And worse…

cultivators began to go mad.

Not just the weak.

Even veteran experts were being affected.

Some claimed to hear voices from the sky during meditation. Others saw unknown stars reflected in the water even in broad daylight. There were even reports of people disappearing before their very eyes when small fissures appeared around them.

Fear spread.

And in the Gu World…

fear always generated chaos.

Caravans abandoned trade routes. Smaller clans closed their doors completely. Spiritual markets collapsed as resources began to run out in various regions.

But that wasn't the worst of it.

Because the true monsters of the world had finally realized:

the sky was failing.

And now…

even the Gu Immortals began to feel fear.

Above the Central Region, seven figures floated among the shattered clouds.

Each one carried a pressure capable of crushing entire mountains with their mere presence.

Immortals.

Beings who normally spent centuries isolated, rarely interfering directly in the affairs of the mortal world.

But now…

They had all been forced to act.

The space above them was completely shattered.

The enormous crack remained open like a scar piercing the heavens, revealing fragments of the other universe beyond the dimensional barrier.

And at its center…

the golden eye remained watching.

Silent.

Indifferent.

One of the figures finally spoke.

His voice was heavy as thunder.

"The formations aren't working."

Another responded immediately:

"The very structure of space is being consumed. This is no ordinary fissure."

The third Immortal remained gazing at the broken sky before murmuring:

"It's not a fissure."

Silence.

Then he continued:

"It's a convergence."

The words even silenced the other Immortals.

Because they all knew the meaning of it.

Two worlds.

Two heavens. Two systems of law.

Colliding.

And worse…

they didn't fully understand what existed on the other side.

Far away, Han Feng walked alone among the ruins of an ancient spiritual road.

The girl accompanying him remained silent behind him, but even she could perceive:

Han Feng had changed.

His aura was deeper.

More dangerous.

And above all…

more unstable.

Ever since the golden eye appeared, the Celestial Diagram within it had been in constant activity. The golden lines occupied almost half of the diagram now, circulating like living rivers of ancient light.

And in the center…

the golden fissure continued to grow slowly.

Han Feng could feel it pulsing within his consciousness.

Like a portal.

Or perhaps…

a seal beginning to break.

The wind blew slowly through the shattered mountains.

Then—

the sky roared again.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Han Feng instantly raised his eyes.

The crack above the Central Region widened once more.

This time much more violently.

The very firmament seemed to be pulled in opposite directions.

And then…

everyone in the Gu World saw.

A mountain rose from the other side.

Gigantic.

Floating amidst black lightning.

But it wasn't just a mountain.

It was part of another world slowly crossing over.

Silence filled the sky.

Even the Gu Immortals stood motionless for a moment.

Because it confirmed something terrifying:

the barrier between universes was beginning to physically fail.

Han Feng felt his heart ache.

His Celestial Diagram exploded in vibrations.

The golden lines spun violently.

And then—

the connection happened again.

His body remained on the road.

But his consciousness was abruptly pulled into the void between worlds.

Infinite darkness.

Fragments of dead stars.

Currents of karma flowing through the cosmos like invisible rivers.

And there…

that silent figure stood before the void.

Momentary.

Calm.

Cold as eternity.

This time Han Feng could see him more clearly.

Simple robes swaying slowly in the void.

A gaze too deep to be understood.

Loneliness.

A loneliness so absurd it seemed to carry countless ages within it.

Then—

the space behind that figure began to darken.

The second presence appeared again.

Cruel.

Heavy.

Dominating.

Like a will capable of devouring entire heavens without hesitation.

The void began to tremble violently between them.

Han Feng felt his soul shudder.

Even separated by universes…

their existences were already affecting reality itself.

Then—

for the first time—

they looked in each other's direction.

The entire cosmos seemed to freeze.

The void cracked.

Invisible laws began to collapse around them.

And Han Feng finally understood.

The universes weren't just colliding by accident.

The existence of those two monsters was pulling the worlds against each other.

Like inevitable poles of destiny and causality.

Then the calm voice echoed again.

Deep.

Distant.

"Interesting…"

Soon after—

the second presence responded.

Cold.

Indifferent.

"So there is someone of this level on the other side."

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The connection exploded.

Han Feng opened his eyes violently.

His whole body trembled.

Blood ran down his arms.

The girl beside him was startled.

— Han Feng!

But he barely heard.

Because at that instant…

the sky began to crumble.

CRAAAAAAACK!!

The gigantic crack above the Central Region finally split completely. And then—

the impossible happened.

A huge hand emerged from the other side.

Not an ordinary creature.

But a gigantic hand made of condensed dark energy, covered in unknown symbols that constantly shifted like living laws.

It began to slowly cross the barrier between worlds.

The Gu Immortals attacked immediately.

Lights destroyed mountains.

Ancient formations fully awakened.

Techniques capable of altering the climate of entire regions were launched simultaneously.

But the instant they struck the hand—

the techniques vanished.

Consumed.

Like drops of water falling into an abyss.

Silence turned to terror.

Because the Immortals finally understood:

this was far beyond them.

Han Feng watched the sky with a heavy heart.

His Celestial Diagram was completely out of control now.

The golden lines shone like small suns.

The fissure within the diagram grew faster and faster.

And then—

something began to emerge from it.

A small golden flame.

Different from the red flame.

Very different.

It floated slowly before Han Feng.

Calm.

Silent.

But its mere existence instantly stabilized the surrounding space.

The girl's eyes widened.

—What… is this…

Han Feng didn't answer.

Because at that moment…

an absurd feeling arose in his mind.

As if that flame…

didn't belong to the Gu World.
