My enormous soul body moved at the same time, and the sheer force contained within that single motion caused the surrounding darkness to tremble. I punched directly toward her soul.
The impact was absolute.
Viserys's soul shattered beneath my fist, breaking apart into countless fragments of black light that scattered through the endless darkness. There was no prolonged struggle and no opportunity for her to recover. The moment her soul was broken, the connection between us destabilized, and my consciousness was violently pulled back toward my physical body.
My eyes opened.
I was once again above the battlefield, sitting within the air before my fully manifested Domain. The enormous body of Viserys remained pinned beneath the Executor's Staff, but something had changed. The black liquid that constituted her monstrous body was beginning to collapse.
