I carefully observed every fluctuation, and my expression slowly became serious as I watched his resonance climb higher and higher. Thirty-five percent. Thirty-eight percent. Then finally, it stopped at forty percent.
My eyes narrowed.

My own Time Origin resonance was only thirty-two percent, and the eight-percent difference might not sound enormous when written as a number, but at the level of a Demi-God, that gap represented a significant difference in comprehension and control.
Worse, Eternal Time was already a Middle Demi-God before consuming those branches, which meant that his overall understanding of Time was far deeper than mine had initially anticipated.
