Kyle's battle with the three brown wolves was a frenetic dance of steel and claw. He spun and dodged, his shadows swirling like living things as he waved his hands in intricate patterns. Shadow Walk allowed him to teleport behind one wolf, where he plunged a shadow-crafted dagger into its side. The wolf yelled in pain, but its flames scorched the ground, sending Kyle leaping back.
The other two wolves closed in, their jaws snapping mere inches from Kyle's face. He bound one with Shadow Bind, its flames faltering as darkness wrapped around it. But the flames were relentless, eating through his shadows like acid.
Kyle's eyes darted around the cave, taking in the jagged rocks and flickering shadows cast by the fire. He leapt onto a boulder, using Shadow Walk to propel himself towards a wolf. His dagger sliced through its fur, but the wolf's flames singed his arm, making him grit his teeth.
