When Richard Shaw arrived at the hospital and asked the nurse for directions to Dr. Liao's office, he found chaos in front of the treatment room.
Leah was unconscious, and Cornelius Turner's men were about to start fighting.
The man's pupils shrank suddenly, his face changed drastically, and he pushed Cornelius aside with force, cradling Leah in his arms, eyes bloodshot with rage: "What on earth happened?"
Rushing all the way from the Military District, only to find Leah not with Cassius Turner but in a hospital, the man's expression turned to extreme darkness, his tall body faintly trembling as he held Leah tightly, shouting for a doctor.
"I am the doctor, the patient is just unconscious. She'll be fine after a sedative and some rest." Dr. Liao had already put on his white coat, speaking somewhat helplessly as he nearly got hit by Cornelius's men.
The nurse outside was also alarmed, ran over to see the chaos, and asked, "Dr. Liao, what happened? Should we call the police?"
