The farewell gathering for Delphine and Ignatius Leclair in the evening was quite lively, with a group of young heirs letting loose and having fun. Due to prior surgery, Ignatius couldn't drink, so he brought Constantine Stewart over to shield him from alcohol.
Constantine then went to pull Richard Shaw. No one dared to push Richard to drink; with his poker face, a scowl from him would mean trouble for them all the next day. So, everyone kept pouring drinks for Constantine, and he ended up drinking most of it.
Luckily, Constantine could hold his liquor well, his flushed face hiding the extent of his drunkenness.
While the men were drinking, the women gathered to chat intimately. Chloe Winston felt a bit nostalgic about Delphine, knowing she'd either be in London or returning to the South Seas, and likely wouldn't stay in Imperial City, making her feel a bit melancholic.
