"What happened with Lily's sister again?"
Upon hearing Thomas Fisher wanted to ask Lily Turner something, Easton Holmes immediately thought Alice Turner had gotten into some kind of trouble, given the previous mix-ups. He figured it was just his good buddy making a mountain out of a molehill again.
Thomas Fisher was deeply anxious, eager to get inside and find Lily Turner, but Easton Holmes held onto him tightly, "Alice is missing."
He didn't want to think this way, but he just couldn't find her anywhere.
"Missing? What do you mean? Couldn't you reach her by phone?" Easton Holmes didn't believe Thomas Fisher's words at all, firmly thinking Thomas was overreacting. He hadn't considered it might be something serious.
Unable to shake off the grip on him, Thomas Fisher had to stand in place and explain the situation to his big brother: "She resigned, and her phone is off. Her parents don't know where she is either. I came to ask if the sister-in-law knows where she went."
