"Of course I can… Mom!"
Even though Amelia Linton had always been prejudiced against her and constantly picked on her, Lily Turner had never truly held any resentment against her in her heart, because no matter what this woman was like, she was still her husband's mother.
She felt a little awkward calling her Mom, but in the end she still forced that "Mom" out.
"Aye!"
Hearing Lily call her that, Amelia answered happily, and after hesitating for a moment, she made a new request. "Can I touch your belly?"
Just thinking that inside that big belly might be her grandson or granddaughter, she was so excited, so thrilled. At this moment, she had completely forgotten that she had once suspected there was something wrong with the baby's parentage.
"Of course you can, you're the baby's grandma." Seeing Amelia hovering with her hand, unsure if she should dare to touch, Lily directly took her hand and placed it on her own belly. "The baby started moving in the last two days."
