However, Jing Jia said her pregnancy foundation was unstable, though Qingmei didn't feel anything.
Since she became pregnant, she has been eating well, sleeping well, and hasn't had any unpleasant events.
But since Jing Jia said so, Qingmei naturally took it as a sacred decree.
After profuse thanks, Qingmei left with the orchid.
After she left, Zhi'er emerged from behind the screen beside Jing Jia.
"Mother, that orchid looks golden in my eyes. Just what kind of life destiny did you craft for Sister Qingmei?"
Jing Jia laughed, "A destiny fit for kings and ministers. Chu Ping's martial arts are excellent and Qingmei is kind and upright. The child they bear could very well be granted titles and ranks."
"Moreover, with magical protection, you needn't worry. You can retrieve your spell left with Qingmei. Otherwise, it continually drains your own energy, and with the Divine Enthronement Ceremony imminent, you need to focus entirely."
