In the end, Bai Zhi'er and Feng Fuce watched as Fu Niu's figure slowly disappeared at the end of the heavy rain.
Even though it was forgiven, it was unwilling to leave Caiyun Mountain.
Bai Zhi'er thought it probably wanted to stay near the place where the Demon Bull had passed away.
For a moment, she felt a pang of sadness.
Even the Divine Beast knows that for the sake of emotions, one must resolutely abandon identity without hesitation.
Yet she lacked the courage to let Feng Fuce gamble on a one-in-ten-thousand possibility.
She could not, and dared not.
It started snowing in Heaven again.
Feng Fuce held her hand: "We must avoid this snow, otherwise it will freeze the Primordial Spirit."
So, they returned to the cave they had just been in.
Feng Fuce somehow conjured up some firewood and, after lighting it, the cave glowed warmly with blazing flames.
Bai Zhi'er sat by the fire.
She said, "Let's not meet anymore in the future."
