He steered the wheel with one hand, while supporting An Ran's chin with the other.
An Ran suddenly woke up, looking at him in a daze, "Brother?"
"If you're tired, go to the backseat and take a nap."
An Ran shook her head, her dark circles prominent, "I'm not tired, I want to stay with you."
Chi Cheng turned on the signal, parked the car by the side, and then got out after unfastening his seatbelt.
He circled the car once, opened the backseat door, then came to the front passenger seat and lifted An Ran sideways.
"What are you doing?"
Chi Cheng gently placed her on the backseat, took out a small blanket from the car, and covered her with it, "Sleep obediently."
The car restarted.
An Ran had stayed up all night and was indeed a bit worn out.
From her angle, she could faintly see Chi Cheng's finely contoured facial profile.
This must be what they call a sense of security.
An Ran nudged the blanket and lightly fell asleep.
