It been about two days now since Shad Darc has left the comfort of his savior tree to look for water.
It wasn't looking fruitful for now considering he is yet to find any source or sign of water.
"Or maybe I am not going the right way"
Saying this he let lot a streesed sigh.
He is gradually losing his remaining energy that a human need which comes from food and water infact he was more in need of water than he was in need of water.
If it is food he is confident to go an entire week without needing it but he can't exactly say the same thing for water because water is more necessary than food.
To top it up it is as if the weird looking forest makes him more dehydrated than he is suppose to be.
Or rather he is dehydrating faster than he should which is not a good thing for him, therefore he need to act even faster.
"Argh, this is so tiring already and we're all the creatures in this damned forest" he said sounding a little frustrated.
'yo calm down getting agitated won't help you right now, so stop being frustrated and keep moving.' said the observing advisor like identity.
"Damn you, what do you mean that I should keep moving when I don't know which way to go."
'Just shut up already you are running out of time the earlier the better and you need to move fast.' said the lonely king identity in a calm and collected manner.
"You are one to talk right, why don't you kindly show me the way to salvation please. " Shad Darc said sarcastically but there was no response from any of his mental identities.
After a few seconds or so the observing identity spoke.
'First thing first you have to look for a way to check if you are going high or low'
"And how is that suppose to help me in this situation"
'Well if you are you going high then you need to come low because there is a high chance of you finding water at low land than at highland but then again this isn't earth so who knows it might be the reverse or might not even matter whether it is low land or high land at all.'
"So what are you suggesting?"
'hmm' the observing identity acts as if he is pondering on which path to take which feels weird to Shad Darc considering all this are happining in his mind which means by default he should have known what the answer would be but still acts as if he does not know.
Looking up at the now cold day sky without thinking of anything in particular he said "Alright we go high then."
Well, that was the answers the observing advisor identity thought off.
But firstly he need to find out if he is going high or low.
With that he looked around for a very long tree among the tall trees around.
Spotting one he decided to head there immediately, looking up at the very tall tree he can't help but feel a sense of awe.
With that he moved on to climb the tree, it wasn't an easy climb but he manage to get on top with the two snake fangs his considering this tree is much taller than the one that save his life but much softer than it though.
Climbing to as high as he can he then take a good view on his surroundings to as far as his eyes can see.
At first he didn't spot anything or rather he wasn't able to know if he was high or low because it was all flat in his eyes.
After a minute or so of observation he was beginning to notice it, that is if he was going high or low.
Then a little while longer he then knows which way to clearly go to and without wasting a more time he immediately proceed to step down from the tree as careful as he can.
Immediately after coming down without wasting a much time be began moving towards the direction of the highland, after reaching a certain point he made a mark at a tree to signify the way to the lowland in case he should return to this point and in order not to get lost or confuse he left the mark to aid him.
With that he began to move further towards the direction of the highland.
Shad Darc now only have five days left to go but then again a single day in this forest felt far much longer than it should to him.
But at least he welcomed it as it enables him to train without worries of time catching up with him infact at this point he feels more confident about advancing in the control of energy flow, before the or by the seven days of allotted time he gave to himself.
Well by now he had made little bit of progress on energy flow usage well by his standard it is only a little.
First thing first he now has a little bit of control on energy flow on the two fangs and the horn even though it demanded lots of concentration from him.
Secondly the speed of his energy flow control has always risen as he can now control it faster.
The third one is yet be verified as he is yet to encounter any creature talk more or less fight them which will lead to him being injured if not dead and then so giving him a chance to verify if he can actively heal himself.
The fourth was surprisingly easy for him even though he give it little too no attention.
The fourth was how to temporarily boost his power while still maintaining his base strength.
The fifth he is yet start training on, which was based on how the the giant snake moves without making a sound or disturbance.
After two to three hours of walking towards the direction of the highland suddenly Shad Darc begins to feel excited for some unknown reasons.
But shortly after he came to know why and it was but for a simple reason.
It seems he has a visitor.
"Finally after all this while I have might another damn creature, I was a little worried I might not see any creatures again" he said while grinning even though he isn't exactly feeling anything emotionally.
