"Are you the one who is supposed to be doing the puppet demonstration today?" The Supervisor asked, his tone carrying both curiosity and anticipation.
Han Yu gave a simple nod.
"Yes."
Kun blinked once, then let out a short breath.
"I only heard that a high ranked disciple would be coming to demonstrate a new type of puppet," he said. "No one mentioned it was you."
Han Yu found that detail interesting.
'So my identity has not been publicly revealed.'
For a brief moment, he considered the possibilities. It could have been a deliberate decision by the Puppet Peak elders, or perhaps the Second Kidney Peak Head had instructed them to keep things vague. Either way, the reasoning behind it was not difficult to understand.
If the demonstration succeeded, revealing his identity afterward would only add to the impact.
If it failed, however, the damage would be contained.
No need to tie the reputation of a Peak Head's personal disciple to a failed prototype.
