With the three admirals of the new navy, several admiral candidates, and the Second Generation of Hell leading the charge, the hawkish vice admirals in the West Blue and North Blue were hunted down at lightning speed.
Once that was done, their next target was clear.
They would strike Marineford in the Grand Line.
The giant troops, samurai troops, fishman troops, zombie troops, and every other massive force, after clearing out the navy in the West and North, would also begin a full scale push into the Grand Line.
The World Government's hawkish vice admirals in the North and West could not withstand the hunt led by Borsalino, Kuzan, Sakazuki, and the others.
Not when the Second Generation of Hell was also on the battlefield.
"Let's go to Marineford first. Leave the rest to the new navy!"
Prince Hades, the eldest, held the corpse of a vice admiral in one hand as he shouted at his brothers and sisters. He could not wait any longer. He wanted to see the real monsters.
Two Seraphim, one carrying the blodd of the Teleport Fruit user, the other carrying the blood of the Paw Paw Fruit user, followed closely behind the Second Generation of Hell. They were ready to move everyone straight to Marine Headquarters, Marineford.
The Teleport Fruit had been given by Brook to his student, Jesus Burgess, more than a year ago. Burgess' Observation Haki had been trained to an extreme level, he was worthy of that Devil Fruit.
He also frequently sparred with Linlin's adopted son, Katakuri, pushing each other nonstop. Both of them had reached the level of future sight.
As the Second Generation of Hell fought with growing excitement and began gathering around Hades, Bullet also rushed over.
"Brother Hades, take me with you! Teleport me to Marineford too!"
After killing Vice Admiral MacArthur, Bullet had lost interest in the West Blue's remaining officers. He wanted to fight the heavyweights at Marine Headquarters.
"Hmph." Princess Hel spread her massive wings of blue flames, her phoenix claws still stained with blood. "If Father hadn't ordered us to avoid danger, I would have gone to Mary Geoise a long time ago."
She had just killed several rear admirals, and it still was not enough to vent her killing intent.
Under Brook's arrangement, the Second Generation of Hell had to eliminate the navy's top officers in the West and North first. Only then could they move with the three admirals of the new navy and launch an attack on Marineford.
"Leave the cleanup to Tsuru, Gion, Tokikake, and the others," Prince Osiris said with a grin, wiping blood from his hands. "Those former navy officers don't want to hit Marineford anyway. Let them stay here and finish off the remnants."
"The Flower Kingdom's navy, from Ippo to Hachipo, has already joined the battle. Abefu and Aroan's zombie and bone armies, the samurai army, the giant army, they're arriving one after another. We can move now!"
Princess Kanna flapped the huge wings of her ice dragon and rushed toward Hades, afraid these guys would leave her behind.
After Sakazuki tore Vice Admiral Treacy apart with his bare hands, he also headed toward Hades.
As the new admiral who had defeated Issho and Bullet , Sakazuki, like Borsalino and Kuzan, had received Brook's order. He was to teleport to Marineford with the Second Generation of Hell and begin the final offensive.
The three admirals also carried another responsibility, protecting these princes and princesses.
Even if the Second Generation of Hell was not weaker than the admirals, if their lives were truly at risk, the students and the new navy's strongest still had to hold the line.
"Hey, Bullet ," Prince Satan said, stepping on a black cloud with an evil smile. "Why don't you stay here and clean up the trash with the other admiral candidates, Gion and Tokikake?"
After Sakazuki became the new admiral, Brook expanded the admiral candidate roster.
Momosagi Gion and Tokikake were added as candidates alongside Issho and Bullet .
That single move made Bullet's status feel cheaper overnight, and the Second Generation of Hell never stopped teasing him for it.
Issho did not care.
Bullet did.
That was why he kept challenging Sakazuki or Kuzan, trying to drag one of them down and take the admiral seat for himself.
As for Borsalino, Bullet could not even touch that speed, so challenging him was pointless.
Bullet watched Sakazuki approaching and only snorted. He did not respond to Satan's jab. He stood silently among the crowd and waited for the teleport.
In his eyes, he was far stronger than Gion and Tokikake.
So this time, he had to be part of the Marineford assault.
"Call Borsalino and Kuzan. Hurry up," Prince Mephisto urged when he saw most of the brothers and sisters had gathered.
"Is Issho going?" Prince Anubis asked calmly. "His gravity fruit could be useful. It's no worse than Shiki's Float Fruit."
"Ask him," Hades said, then looked at Burgess. "We leave in half an hour. Leave the Paw Seraph with Tsuru as backup. If anyone else wants to go to Marineford, they can be sent later.
"Burgess and the Teleport Seraph will handle sending us out."
With the five hawkish vice admirals dead on the West Blue battlefield, the Second Generation of Hell could not wait to rush to Marine Headquarters.
Soon, Borsalino and Kuzan also arrived and joined the group around Hades.
"Everyone, get inside Uju's castle. We teleport all at once!"
Hades felt genuinely relieved. Brook leaving Uju with them was a lifesaver. Otherwise, even with Burgess and the Teleport Seraph, they might be exhausted before they even reached Marineford.
The lesson from Sheila, the previous user of the Teleport Fruit, was still fresh.
Three admirals, Borsalino, Kuzan, and Sakazuki.
Admiral candidates, Bullet and Issho.
Seven or eight princes and princesses.
Then Beckman, Moria, Abel, Vista, Jinbe, Ashura Doji, Koshiro, Ryuga, Katakuri, Marco, and many more.
If they teleported one by one, Burgess and the Teleport Seraph would be worked to death.
With Uju's Castle Fruit, Burgess could preserve his stamina for emergency teleports, while the main burden fell on the Teleport Seraph.
As for the teleport mark at Marineford, the Hell Guild had already prepared it long ago for Burgess and the Seraphim.
As the Second Generation of Hell and the admirals of the new navy vanished, Tsuru looked at the Paw Seraph left beside her. Her expression was complicated.
Could Sengoku and Garp survive this war?
She had considered going to Marineford herself, trying to persuade those two old partners to surrender.
But she understood them too well.
They would never surrender. They would never betray the navy they had devoted most of their lives to.
-----
Momosagi Gion walked over and gently hugged Tsuru, offering quiet comfort. If it were not for her and Tokikake's lives, Tsuru might never have surrendered and joined the Universal Government.
"Hey. Focus up," Tsuru said, shaking her head and forcing herself back into the moment. "Clear out the navy in the West Blue. We still have the North Blue to deal with before we push into the Grand Line."
She issued the order to Gion and Tokikake without hesitation.
Tsuru believed Sengoku and Garp would not fall that easily. Maybe one day, they would even wear the same uniform again, serving in the new navy together.
And she also understood something else.
Dragon was attacking Marineford too. How could he possibly allow his father to die on that battlefield?
…
A few hours earlier, Marine Headquarters, Marineford.
Kong received one piece of bad news after another.
The Hell Pirates and the Universal Government's counterattack was far too fierce. Rare race elites were pouring into the war, and the military might of the Universal Government had already surpassed the World Government and the navy.
And now, Dragon, the Revolutionary Army leader, the Logia user of the Wind Wind Fruit, had wrapped Marineford in a raging storm.
The West Blue and North Blue were collapsing.
Even the Holy Land, Mary Geoise, was under siege by Brook.
The explosions from Mary Geoise were so violent that even from this distance, Marineford could still catch faint traces of the thunderous roar.
"No. We have to support Mary Geoise, now," Kong roared, as if he could already see the World Government's end. The Universal Government was like a tiger coming down the mountain, tearing apart the paper tiger that was the World Government.
"Go out. Take down Dragon!"
"Fleet Admiral Kong," Sengoku said grimly, "most kings from the member states in the East Blue and South Blue are no longer willing to provide military support."
The World Government's earlier indiscriminate purge against the Revolutionary Army had crushed what little popular support they had left.
This new, reckless aggression only made the kings of the member nations see how fragile the World Government truly was.
"The vice admirals in the West Blue can't hold any longer," Admiral Sagon said through clenched teeth, staring toward Garp. "If that revolutionary brat hadn't blocked our warships, we could have sailed out. We could have reinforced the West Blue, or gone straight to Mary Geoise to support Lord Imu."
"I'm going to beat that brat into the ground," Garp growled.
His usual carefree grin was gone. He stormed out, furious, hunting for Dragon.
But Dragon never intended to fight the navy's top figures head on. He used the storm to besiege their warships and buy time.
If physical monsters like Kong and Sagon wanted to force their way out by brute strength, Dragon would not stop them.
His goal was delay. There was no need to trade lives with the navy.
Besides, reinforcements were coming.
Prince Satan, the user of the Weather Fruit. Marco, the user of the Cloud Cloud Fruit. Vista, the heavy rain dual blade swordsman and Logia user of the Rain Rain Fruit.
Once those Second Generation of Hell fighters arrived, Dragon could trap most of Marineford completely. With his Wind Wind Fruit, he could make it impossible for them to support Mary Geoise, or even leave Marineford at all.
Dragon watched as Kong and Sagon used Moon Walk, pushing through the storm and leaving Marineford.
Meanwhile, Garp's furious shouts echoed as he searched.
"If those two get through, Mr. Brook can still handle it," Dragon murmured, a faint smile forming.
That way, his father's chances of surviving would be much higher.
He immediately stepped in, cutting off Garp before he could follow Kong and Sagon toward Mary Geoise.
The Revolutionary Army had already delayed Garp and Sengoku. Their mission was essentially complete.
"Father. Surrender," Dragon said as he emerged from the storm, facing the stubborn old man head on. "The four seas are filled with the Universal Government's forces. The World Government is finished. Join the new navy, you can even work with Aunt Tsuru again."
But the Monkey family was stubborn to the bone. Words were useless.
"I can't surrender," Garp said, his voice hard. "Not in this life. I have to stick with the choice I made, even if it costs me my life.
"But I'm glad you found your own path. Remember this, we're enemies now. Don't think that just because you're my son, my loving iron fist won't hit you. Hahaha!"
"Fist Bone, Meteorite!"
Garp's grin returned, wild and fearless. His fist turned pitch black as Armament Haki wrapped around it, and he smashed straight toward Dragon.
"My wife is Paulina," Dragon said calmly, without retreating. "She's from the Golden Family, Gol D. Roger's family. She gave birth to our son. I named him Luffy.
"Your grandson is Monkey D. Luffy. He's almost four months old."
"Dragon Claw Fist, Dragon Breath!"
Dragon opened his right hand into a three fingered dragon claw, hardened black with Haki. He met Garp head on.
Black fist and black claw collided.
Red lightning erupted.
Shockwaves blasted outward, rolling the sea into towering waves in every direction.
"Ahahaha! I'm a grandfather now?" Garp laughed as he attacked with both hands, showing no mercy at all. "When are you sending him back? I'll train him into a powerful marine. I won't let him walk the same wrong road you did!"
His Haki coated fists hammered toward Dragon's vital points without pause.
"If you join the new navy, I'll let you teach him," Dragon said, his dragon claw snapping toward Garp's throat. "If you refuse, I'd rather hand him to Brook."
The threat landed like a blade.
"Ah! You little bastard!" Garp roared, his fists surging with even more power. "You're really asking to get beaten to death!"
On the other side, Sengoku, who was trying to stabilize Marineford, summoned the generals stationed at headquarters. He prepared to find a way to break through Dragon's storm, even if it would be slow, and rush to support Mary Geoise.
…
At the same time, in the Holy Land, Mary Geoise.
The continuous explosions revealed how intense the battle had become.
A new figure had joined the Five Elders.
He was the strongest among the Celestial Dragons' fighting faction, Saint Jegarcia. He held the superhuman Word Spirit Fruit in Imu's hand.
In recent years, Imu had personally trained him, pushing his strength higher and higher.
But in this moment, he was being suppressed by Kaido.
After all, he still lacked true life and death battles. He could not bring out the Word Spirit Fruit's real power yet.
