Juniper settled into the backseat and fastened her seatbelt.
"It's such a busy time. I couldn't even get a cab through the app," she began, smoothing her skirt.
"It always happens on weekends here, particularly in this region," Chelsea answered, turning her head from the front passenger seat to offer a small smile.
"Where are you two going?" Juniper asked, glancing between Chelsea and Marcus, who was behind the steering wheel. "I hope I'm not bothering you both by hitching a ride," she asserted.
"We aren't bothered at all," Marcus said, catching her eye in the rearview mirror as he merged into the flow of traffic. "Just relax. So, where exactly are you headed?"
"I thought I'd just explore the city," Juniper replied, looking out the window at the vibrant storefronts of San Ravendale. "I haven't had much of a chance to see the sights since I arrived."
