Denzel repeatedly called Juniper, but she didn't answer.
"I told her to call me as soon as she reached home," he murmured, his worry mounting. He grabbed his keys and drove to her house, but she didn't open the door even after repeated bells.
"Did she even come here?" he wondered as he couldn't sense her Alpha aura. He had never been this unsettled in his entire life. He decided to use his resources to track the taxi she had taken from his place.
Returning to his car, he waited for his friend to call with the details, his eyes never leaving his phone screen. Finally, it rang.
"Denzel, the taxi dropped her at her building," Peter reported from the other end.
"Are you sure, Peter?"
"Yes. I'm looking at the footage now. She definitely entered the building," Peter confirmed.
"Alright. Thank you."
