Wade placed Alduin inside the suitcase. Without a cage restricting him, Alduin returned to his dragon form and soared freely through the artificial sky inside.
Tom Cat and Jerry excitedly climbed into the suitcase as well. Without Wade even noticing, each of them built themselves a beautiful little house inside.
No matter what, one could never underestimate the handiwork of a cat and mouse like these. Their abilities were almost absurd.
Seeing the "homes" Tom and Jerry had built gave Wade an idea.
Before long, he began bringing processed bricks from the goblin workshop, each carved with special runes. Whenever he had free time, he would enter the suitcase and work on building himself a castle.
With Tom Cat, Jerry, and Toby helping, the construction speed was frighteningly fast.
Wade decided to finish the moving castle inside the suitcase first.
As for how he would move the castle outside later, he would simply need to research teleportation magic further.
With the Vanishing Cabinet and the Floo Network as references, Wade believed the goblins in the workshop would definitely be able to give him a satisfactory solution before he graduated.
And if not, he could simply modify the suitcase's entrance.
After all, Newt's suitcase had such a tiny opening, yet even creatures as large as Erumpents could pass through it. There was clearly magic involved.
...
On a quiet forest path, a flock of birds suddenly burst into the air in alarm.
A figure shot out from between the trees, while streaks of red and green spell-light flew past her from behind.
Nagini ran as fast as she could.
The people chasing her clearly intended to kill her.
They were close enough that she did not even have a chance to Disapparate.
If she slowed down for even a moment, she would die under their combined attacks.
She had simply provoked too many dark wizards recently.
So many of them had disappeared one after another that the others had naturally begun to notice.
They were not going to sit back and wait for the same thing to happen to them, so they had quietly joined forces and begun investigating.
Eventually, the trail led them to Nagini.
Originally, after receiving word that she no longer needed to send dark wizards back, Nagini had planned to rest properly for a while.
But she had only rested for two days before this group found her and chased her all the way into the wilderness.
Shouts and curses continuously came from behind her.
Sweat had already begun to form on Nagini's forehead.
If only one or two of them had come after her, she would not have been afraid.
But these people were working together.
And each of these dark wizards knew all kinds of strange and unpredictable Dark Magic.
Nagini could not guard against everything, so she had no choice but to turn and run.
But she could not keep fleeing like this forever.
Sooner or later, they would wear her down and kill her here.
Nagini glanced toward a path beside her and prepared to transform into a snake and escape into the forest again.
No matter how much she hated returning to that form, it was still better than being killed here.
"Quick! She can't get away!"
"Be careful! She turned into a snake! Don't let her slip away!"
"She's an Animagus!"
"She went that way! Release the dogs! Don't let her escape. That woman is dangerous!"
Dog barks mixed with the shouting.
Clearly, someone among them kept Crups.
Nagini had only just broken away from the group and was preparing to return to human form so she could Disapparate when she heard someone rapidly closing in behind her again.
"Damn it!"
Nagini gritted her teeth and continued fleeing.
She deeply regretted not practising Apparition properly before.
Her lack of skill with Apparition was especially deadly in a situation like this.
Most of the blood curse on Nagini had already been undone by Wade, so her snake form was no longer as large as it once had been.
And because she despised that form, the snake body she transformed into voluntarily was far less powerful in combat than before.
So she absolutely could not allow herself to be surrounded.
Unfortunately, the pursuers had dogs, making it easy for them to determine which direction she had fled.
Gradually, after changing direction several times, Nagini realised she was being encircled.
She crawled behind a large tree.
When she emerged again, she had already returned to human form.
Her clothes had been completely changed, and a thick black scarf now covered her head.
At the same time, she poured several different potions over herself.
She did not care what kind they were. As long as they had a strong, pungent smell, she poured them on.
Sure enough, the barking gradually faded.
Nagini breathed a sigh of relief, then pretended to be one of the people hunting her and began searching through the forest.
The disguise worked surprisingly well.
Nagini blended into the crowd. Although she smelled rather strongly, no one paid much attention.
After all, it was hardly unusual for a dark wizard to smell strange.
Gradually, Nagini began edging her way out of the encirclement.
She did not dare Disapparate yet.
If she did, the entire group would immediately be alerted.
These dark wizards were quite capable. If she Disapparated too close to them, they could detect the magical disturbance before it faded and follow her through Apparition.
So it would be safer to put some distance between them first.
Before long, she had fallen to the very rear of the group.
Once she was certain no one was watching, she quietly turned around and prepared to leave them behind completely.
"Why are you heading backward?!"
A voice suddenly came from behind Nagini.
It belonged to a dark wizard who had deliberately lagged behind the others, originally intending to let everyone else take the risks for him. By sheer coincidence, he had caught Nagini turning around.
"Wait... That smell... Why did you pour Boil-Cure Potion all over yourself?"
"I..."
Nagini spun around and immediately fired a spell in a surprise attack.
The dark wizard was struck and collapsed instantly.
But before he hit the ground, he still managed to point his wand skyward and fire a green signal flare.
"Tch!"
Nagini no longer had time to worry about anything else. She immediately prepared to Disapparate.
"Hm? Haven't seen you in a while. Why do you smell so awful now?"
A familiar voice came from nearby.
Nagini hurriedly turned around and exclaimed in delight,
"Teacher! You're here!"
Since her teacher had arrived...
Perhaps she did not need to run anymore.
