Chapter 824 - Chapter 820: The Donkey of the Bing Family Production Team

Medical Center, VIP Delivery Room

The moment little Adam was born, he went through the exact same chaos Adam's predecessor had. If Adam hadn't been there, who knows? Maybe this kid would've ended up as another clumsy, adorable version of the old Adam—dropped on his head or something. 😂 Then Adam would've had to squint and figure out if this little guy was a time-traveler too.

But even if he wasn't, this kid was still the wildest result of Adam's butterfly effect since crossing over. In the original timeline, Chandler and Monica never had a biological son like this. Adam Jack Bing—little Adam's name fit him perfectly, no question about it.

"Calm down, take a look at your son!" Adam said, handing over the tiny bundle—who still didn't give any "Traverser vibes"—to Monica, who'd instantly switched into mama-bear mode, looking ready to ditch even her husband.

"Ohh!" Monica cooed, taking him into her arms and gazing down at him. All her fiery energy melted into pure love. 😍

"Let Ross and the gang come in," Adam said, nudging a sulky Chandler.

Chandler gave a wry smile, nodded, and headed out. A burst of cheers followed, and the door swung open as their friends poured in.

"Let us see little Adam!" Joey shouted.

"Yeah, I've been dying to say that forever!" Phoebe chimed in, swaying her head smugly at Adam. "Finally got my chance!"

"…" Adam's lip twitched.

He knew it! The moment had arrived! This joke was universal—East or West, it hit the same. His good name was doomed! 😭 He shot a look at Phoebe's "Ant-Man" fiancé, Mike. "You're not gonna rein her in?"

"Rein in what?" Mike shrugged with a grin. "I love her like this. Plus, I'm with her—I wanna see little Adam too!"

"Hahaha!" The VIP room erupted in laughter.

"Stupid Western naming traditions!" Adam muttered under his breath, resigning himself to being the butt of their joy.

"Wow! Little Adam's so cute!" Phoebe said when it was her turn to hold him. She stared for a sec, then looked up at Mike. "Hey, should we have one too?"

"Sure, why not?" Mike laughed.

He'd never been big on marriage or family stuff before, but ever since free-spirited Phoebe decided she wanted a traditional life, he'd fallen in line—because he loved her. Well, that, and the fallout from the Golden Light Nursing Home inheritance mess. His parents kept nagging him to carry on the bloodline, or they'd "start a new save file." 😂

"My turn! Uncle Joey's up!" Joey clapped, wrestling the baby from Phoebe. He looked down, then pulled his classic Joey cry-face. "Wah! So touching! I'm gonna marry Nora—I wanna be a dad too!"

"Easy there," Adam quipped. "You've already got three kids you know about, and who knows how many you don't? If you keep getting this worked up, you'll wear yourself out! Maybe go get a DNA test and make a list—keep the family tree from turning into a tragedy!"

"…" Joey's teary moment froze solid.

"Adam, Nora's not that bad," Monica said, basking in her new-mom glow. "She's due in four weeks. I think her little girl deserves a dad."

"Why's everyone staring at me?" Adam said, exasperated. "This is Joey's mess, not mine!"

"I just want your blessing, man," Joey whimpered.

"Fine, you've got it," Adam teased. "May happiness knock on your door!"

Nora—Joey's girl with the double uterus and "panda twins"—was a handful, and Adam hadn't exactly approved of her. But it was Joey's life. He'd said his piece, given his warnings, and that was that. As a friend, he'd done his part. Any more, and Joey might end up resenting him—especially since Nora's daughter was his flesh and blood.

This was a sitcom world, after all. Not everyone could be a perfect couple like Matthew and Lily or Chandler and Monica—happily ever after, one true love. Ha! Here, when the spark hits, you promise forever; when it fades, you cheat once and call it a day. That's the vibe.

Everyone took turns holding little Adam, and soon he was back in Monica's arms.

"Chandler, get over here. I'll snap a pic of you three," Adam said, grabbing the camera.

"Come on," Monica said, rolling her eyes at Chandler's awkward shuffle. She waved him over. Her husband was still her husband, as long as he didn't mess with her baby time.

Chandler slid onto the bed beside her, wrapping an arm around Monica as she held their son. The little Bing family beamed at the camera.

"Today's perfect," Adam said, snapping shot after shot of this hard-won trio.

"Yeah, perfect," Monica murmured, glancing up at Chandler, then down at little Adam, resting her head on Chandler's chest.

"Perfect!" Chandler echoed, his eyes practically spilling over with joy.

The shadows of his weird childhood—thanks to his parents' bizarre marriage—finally lifted completely. The Bing name, once something he'd dreaded passing down, now felt like a legacy he'd fight to keep alive. From here on out, they were the happy Bing family!

"Let's get a group shot!" Monica called out.

"Dr. Duncan, I'll take it for you!" a perky nurse nearby offered.

"Thanks, Ruth!" Adam said, handing her the camera. At Monica's urging, he joined the crew, sitting on the bed beside Chandler, arm around him, framing Monica and little Adam in the middle.

Rachel stood by Chandler, peeking over little Adam's head with a smile. Phoebe mirrored her on the other side. Ross leaned in next to Chandler, tilting his head toward him. Mike stood by Adam, flashing a reserved grin. Joey, of course, darted to the head of the bed, flopped onto his back across Monica's legs, and muged for the camera—ignoring Rachel and Phoebe's protests as he waved wildly. 😂

The joyful chaos froze in a series of perfect photos. Then came the solo shots—everyone with little Adam, then with the Bing trio.

What's happiness? This. Right here.

Soon, Monica's parents showed up. Her mom—who'd always been tough on her—couldn't help but say, "I never thought I'd see this day."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Monica asked, smirking through her irritation.

"Nothing," her mom backpedaled, as usual. "Just… congrats."

"No, that's not what you meant!" Monica snapped, pointing a shaky finger. "You're judging me! You think I'll never measure up to Ross!"

"I didn't say that," her mom muttered, avoiding eye contact. "Ross has a son and a daughter."

The group smoothed things over before Monica could grab a knife (kidding… mostly). After her parents left, Monica barked, "Everyone out! Chandler, pants off!"

"…What?" Everyone blinked. Chandler looked utterly lost.

"The Bing team's got its quarterback," Monica huffed. "Time to add more players! Our Bing squad's gonna crush Ross's Geller team!"

"Whoa, whoa!" Adam and the others rushed to stop her as she yanked the blanket, ready to strip a baffled Chandler. "Take it easy, no rush!"

It took some serious effort to calm her down. Adam couldn't help but laugh, shooting a sympathetic look at Chandler. With Monica's pregnancy struggles, building a whole "team" was gonna run Chandler ragged—harder than a donkey on a production crew! 😅
