Chapter 15 - Restart

Astor dashed.

The wind shattered.

He stopped just in front of Malakar—his aura burning white from the edges, black at the core.

He pulled his arm back. The air howled. His voice roared.

Astor (declaring):"I AM STARMON ASTOR YT!!"

BLACK FIST!

His right hand—cloaked in black lightning and crushing will—slammed into Malakar's chest.

BOOOOOOM.

A white flash swallowed the world.

The trees bent. The air ignited. The sky turned white.

Malakar's body exploded into fragments of cursed energy and was thrown back, his cloak unraveling, he smiled before disappearing.

All that remains is Astor, standing in the ashes, breathing like a storm in human skin.

Eyes still red. Fist still clenched. Body still burning.

Scene: (Battlefield of Aetherium)

Drogath Veylor, the fifth and most powerful general of Malakar Veilgrave, moved like death incarnate—his massive double-sided war axe dragging behind him, scraping across dirt and bone..

His actions were louder than roar, and each swing of his axe ended a life. Soldiers of Moonveil and Aetherium rushed him, swords raised, hearts burning—yet they fell like wheat before a scythe. Heads rolled. Bodies collapsed.

He walked slowly. Casually. As if time bent for him. As if death itself was taking a stroll.

From above the chaos, Lily descended, flames igniting in her eyes.

Lily: "I won't let you took our peace and dreams!"

She raised her sword to the sky.

Lily: "Ignis Exuro: Flame Drive!!"

Her blade erupted in crimson fire, igniting the ground beneath her. With a scream, she launched herself at Drogath.

Beside her, Liliana, in her partial beast form, roared with claws extended and muscles bursting with power. Her eyes were golden, her hair wild, her aura crackling with raw savagery.

And Sofia, casting support magic with a grim face, held her palm out.

Sofia:"Verdant Shell: Nature's Guard!"

A glowing emerald barrier formed in front of the girls as they charged, shielding them from the shockwaves of other battles.

Drogath turned his head, just slightly.

They attacked in unison. Lily's flame sword slashed at his armored leg, fire trailing behind. Liliana pounced, claws aiming for his throat. Sofia casted vines to bind his feet.

For a brief second—it looked like the attack connected. But then—

WHAM.

Drogath swung his axe in a circular arc, blasting all three women away like dolls. They hit the ground hard, groaning but alive.

Liliana was first to recover. She wiped blood from her lip and growled, her voice now animalistic.

Liliana (Houled): "I'm not done yet!"

Her body trembled—and suddenly, she burst into full beast form. Her fur darkened, claws elongated, and a shockwave of pure power exploded from her form as she leapt again.

Drogath didn't even blink. He grabbed her mid-air and slammed her into the ground like a thunderbolt.

Lily came back, casting a high-level spell this time.

Lily: "Inferna Tempest: Phoenix Blaze!"

A fiery phoenix burst from her blade and screamed as it charged Drogath.

Drogath turned and walked straight through it. The fire dispersed around him. His armor, smoking—but intact.

Then—he stopped. He raised his head slightly. Something was coming.

He shoved Lily back violently and ducked.

FWIP!

An arrow zipped past his skull, nearly piercing his eye. His gaze snapped toward the treeline.

Nothing.

The girls recovered and attacked again, blades and claws clashing against steel—but Drogath seemed… distracted.

Again, he knocked them all down.

FWIP!

Another arrow but this time from a different angle. This time—he caught it in mid-air.

He slowly turned his head… toward the forest.

High above, perched on a ruined arch of stone—Sylphie stood. Her hair whipped in the wind. Her bowstring pulled taut. Her eyes were locked. Her breathing steady.

She released three arrows in succession, each coated with fire magic.

Drogath raised his axe and swung down on the ground.

WHAM!

A glowing black curse sigil burst open mid-air, spinning like a glyph of death.

Sylphie's eyes widened.

She jumped—just in time—but the blastwave from the curse circle sent her flying. She crashed into a boulder, pain wracking through her body. Her bow tumbled away.

She didn't scream. She didn't cry. But she couldn't stand.

Drogath slowly raised his axe again and roared.

A guttural, inhuman sound that echoed across the battlefield like thunder through a canyon.

Liliana's claws dug into the cracked soil as she rose. Blood matted her fur. Her breathing was ragged, her chest heaving. But her golden eyes gleamed brighter than ever.

Drogath started moving toward King Albert Arc.

Liliana launched forward with a beast's snarl, leaping higher than any human should be able to. Her clawed hands slammed into Drogath's shoulder and back, raking down his thick armor in a shower of sparks.

She howled in anger.

Drogath halted mid-step. Slowly, like a bear roused from slumber, he twisted his neck to look at her. His eyes—red, cold, unreadable—locked onto hers.

She swung again. A flurry of slashes—left, right, spinning. She was everywhere, clawing and snarling like a whirlwind made of teeth and hate.

And still—he stood.

Her claws screeched against his armor, drawing dents, shallow cuts. She jumped on his back, slamming her fists into the sides of his helmet. Blood trickled from her knuckles. She didn't care.

He grunted. Then, finally, he moved.

His elbow cracked back into her ribs. She gasped—air stolen. Then his hand reached over his shoulder, grabbed her by the throat like she was nothing more than smoke and feathers, and slammed her to the ground.

The earth cracked beneath the impact. The shockwave kicked up a cloud of dust. He didn't stop.

He lifted her again—and again—slammed her down like a doll made of glass. Her body bounced once. She coughed blood. A whimper escaped her lips. Still, she raised a shaking claw.

He kicked her aside. She tumbled across the field like a discarded memory.

"Get away from her." The voice didn't shout. It didn't crack. It cut.

Lily stood across the field, a slow walk closing the distance. Her blade was planted in the ground beside her. Flames danced across the steel, curling up like hungry fingers. Her armor was cracked. Her cape was torn. One eye was nearly swollen shut.

But her presence— It burnt.

Drogath turned, recognizing her now. He remembered the fire, The phoenix.

She pulled the sword free. The ground beneath her ignited in a straight line as she moved.

"You want fire?" she whispered. "Then let me show you how hell looks like."

She slammed the hilt to her chest.

"Solar Veil—Blazing Crown."

A circle of light exploded beneath her feet, blooming outward like a flower of molten gold. Her sword shimmered, ignited, then burned white-hot.

Drogath raised his axe, ready. He stepped back a little.

She charged. The air behind her cracked. Her speed tripled. Her flames screamed across the field, searing grass and stone in her wake.

CLANG.

Her blade met his axe. Sparks exploded. The shockwave knocked trees over.

She didn't stop.

Spin—slash—flip—burn.

Every motion of hers was calculated rage, Beautiful, Terrifying, Like watching a sunfight.

Drogath tried to counter. He swung his axe with both hands, a brutal sideways cleave meant to end any mortal.

She ducked beneath it, sliding forward on a trail of flame, and uppercut her sword across his chest.

The armor cracked. He grunted.

That was all she needed. She roared and leapt, her sword now engulfed in a cyclone of flame.

"Solar Blade—Twin Inferno!"

Two arcs of fire slashed in an X across Drogath's chest.

He stumbled. One knee buckled.

She landed and gasped. Her legs shook. She was near empty. Her magic reserves were gone. She had maybe two more spells left in her.

Drogath looked up, chestplate glowing red from the heat.

His face was expressionless. Then—

He smiled. A slow, dark grin, as if to say: Finally.

She backed up, sword raised.

He walked toward her, faster now. Each step heavier.

She chanted under her breath, voice trembling. "C-Come on, Lily… one more. Just one more…"But before the spell finished— He was in front of her.

The axe came down. She barely raised her blade.

CLAAAANG—

The sword snapped. She flew backward. Everything went white.

The battlefield had stilled. A strange quiet fell over the broken ruins and shattered soldiers.

In the depths of the forest, a blinding white light exploded, sending birds scattering from the treetops. The earth shook. A sound—no, a shockwave—ripped through the trees like a divine hammerstrike.

All heads turned. Even Drogath paused mid-step, his axe hanging in the air. The cursed soldiers stiffened. The air rippled. The Aetherians blinked, breath caught in their throats. Sofia whispered, barely audible, "Starmon…? No, it can't be…"

Lily, broken and bleeding, reaching for the hilt of her blade. Her fingers trembled.

"No… I have to stop them" she murmured

It lasted only seconds. The light vanished. The forest stilled again.

Then Drogath turned back toward Lily, his monstrous footsteps echoing like war drums. He raised his axe high—ready to end her, once and for all. But—

CRASH!

A streak of white light slammed into Drogath with meteor force, forcing him to cross his axe in defense. The impact threw him sliding back, claws grinding through stone, his boots tearing trenches in the dirt.

When the dust settled, his arms trembled from the force. He looked up. Standing where the strike had landed—a lone figure.

Black torned robe fluttering. Crimson eyes glowing beneath his black hair.

ASTOR.

He stood still, head lowered slightly, hands at his sides, one boot forward like a predator mid-step. Then he turned his head, just a little. His voice was casual, but every word hit like a thunderbolt.

"It's no time for rest."

He tapped the ground with his heel. Beside him, Lily's sword, lifted into the air—as if pulled by unseen hands. It spun mid-air, a blaze of embers rising with it.

Astor reached out and caught it with a reverse grip—then spun it once and held it upright. The blade ignited in crimson fire.

Lily blinked. The voice, The posture, The eyes. It wasn't Starmon anymore. It was him.

"Astor…" she whispered.

Sofia sprinted into the clearing, stopping at Lily's side. Her eyes locked onto the figure standing between them and Drogath.

Astor didn't look back. He spoke, calmly.

"Take care of her. It'll be over soon."

Drogath roared in fury, shaking the very trees. But Astor— Astor didn't flinch. He tilted his head back. And roared louder.

Blue Aura exploded from his body like a shockwave. scorched the grass, and sent curse soldiers stumbling back.

Without another word, Astor charged—vanishing from sight in a blink. Drogath barely brought his axe up in time.

CLANG!

Astor's blade smashed against the axe with such force that sparks exploded like fireworks. Drogath's boots dug trenches as he was slid back—again. Astor grinned, leaning in close.

"Hey, you ugly bull—can't you talk?"

Drogath's eyes burned dark.

"DIIIIIEEEEEEE!!" he roared in a guttural, monstrous voice.

Astor laughed, stepping back and spinning his blade into a reverse grip.

"Ohhh! So bro can speak!"

Then it began. Astor's assault was like watching lightning wrapped in a hurricane. Every step he took cracked the earth, every swing of the sword sent shockwaves.

He wasn't just faster than Drogath. He was toying with him.

Strike—parry—counter.

Strike—spin—elbow to the jaw.

Kick—uppercut—flash of flame.

Drogath was bleeding.

For the first time, the unbreakable beast was on the defensive. The battlefield watched in stunned silence.

Sofia's breath hitched. Mark, injured but conscious, murmured, "He's too much faster… this… this isn't Starmon—he's ."

Lily whispered, "He is Astor"

Then— Something changed.

Drogath stumbled back, breathing heavily. His armor was scorched, cracked.

Astor stared at him… but the smile was still on his face. He whispered something—but no one could hear. Then he raised his hand, palm glowing with something… ancient.

The wind stopped. Time felt like it held its breath. And Drogath…?

A single drop of blood rolled down the edge of his jaw, vanishing in the red aura pulsing from his body. Breathing like a beast in heat.

His axe trembled in his grip, now glowing a faint, eerie green. Black smoke leaked from his cracked gauntlets. Pieces of armor fell away, revealing cursed, pulsating muscle underneath.

Everyone watched. The forest… went quiet. Birds no longer sang. Even the cursed soldiers… took a step back. Then—

CRACK!

A sound like bones snapping echoed through the trees.

Drogath screamed—but not in pain. In rage. In awakening.

His back arched, muscles swelling like a monster breaking its own limits. His eyes rolled white, then turned completely black—no iris. His horns grew, twisted like obsidian blades. His jaw split, his teeth doubling in size. Black tendrils burst from his spine and whipped the air like demonic tails.

Then—BOOM.

An explosion of cursed energy engulfed the entire field, forcing even Astor to shield his face as trees bent and rocks shattered from the pressure.

When the smoke cleared… What stood there… Was not Drogath.

A nightmare in the shape of a minotaur, taller, broader, his entire body glowing with runes carved into flesh.

His voice was now demonic—like a thousand tortured souls screamed in unison through him.

"YOU—WILL—DIE!"

Astor's eyes widened—just slightly.

Sofia gasped. "Did he just awakened?"

Mark muttered, "So it means the one we were fighting until now was real form?"

Lily stared, frozen. "Astor—don't rush! Be careful"

Drogath didn't walk. He charged. The ground shattered under his feet as he launched forward, swinging his now enchanted cursed axe, glowing like molten metal.

Astor blocked it—barely. The impact sent a shockwave so massive it leveled the surrounding trees. Astor skidded back, boots carving through rock. He coughed once.

He looked up, wiping his mouth and smiled.

"There we go… That's the monster I was waiting for."

The air between them cracked with tension. And then— They collided.

Blades. Axes. Punches. Roars.

The world turned into a blur of red and black.

Every time Astor struck, Drogath healed. Every time Drogath landed a blow, Astor healed and rose again.

Cursed hands against crimson fury.

At one point—Astor was sent flying, smashing through six trees and crashing into a boulder. The boulder cracked.

Lily screamed. "ASTOR!!"

But— He rose, Face bloodied, Still smiling. He spat to the side and whispered:

"I'm not stopping…until I bury that axe in your skull."

Drogath roared, rushing in to end it. Astor didn't dodge. He raised his hand— And caught the cursed axe with one hand.

His flesh tore but he held it. Red lightning danced around his arm.

"...Let me show you what the real magic is…"

Then the sky cracked above. Something ancient stirred. Something final.

Drogath is in his monstrous second form, roaring like a wrath. The forest is burning. Trees are ash. The earth is cracked.

Cursed soldiers pour in from all sides, howling as they follow their warlord's fury.

Allied forces charge to stop them — brave, foolish, desperate.

Mark, Elisa, Sofia and Lily—try to hold the line. But the cursed soldiers aren't looking like human anymore. They're like nightmare.

Mark slashes down one, only to be pierced by a cursed arrow.

Elisa sets a group ablaze, screaming through her flames.

But it's not enough.

Allied soldiers begin to fall. One by one. Screaming, Begging, Blood-soaked.

Names we know. Faces we remember. Some die shielding their friends. Some die running.

Some are swallowed by cursed flames.

The cursed keep coming.

Astor sees everything. He sees Drogath cleave through the Moonveil's knights like paper.

He sees Sofia, barely holding off a dozen enemies alone.

He sees Lily trying to protect wounded soldiers with her fire magic.

And something in him snaps.

No more strategy, No more control, No more restraint.

Astor plants Lily's sword into the ground and raises his hands toward the sky. His red eyes pulse like burning suns.

"CRIMSON JUDGEMENT"

A rune circle of pure red light appears in the sky. Not one—five, layered on top of each other.

The ground shakes. The cursed scream in fear for the first time. The entire sky ignites in red fire.

A flaming meteor of blood-colored magic plummets from the sky, trailing lightning and flame.

It hits the cursed army behind Drogath like a divine nuke.

BOOOOOOOOM!!

Trees are vaporized, Screams turn into silence. Cursed bodies melt into the earth.

Even allied soldiers are thrown back by the shockwave.

Dozens of cursed soldiers vanish but so do several allied fighters who were too close.

Ash rains down. The air is thick with death.

Lily screamed to Astor:

"YOU'RE KILLING OUR OWN!!"

Astor's face serious. Veins glowing red.

"I know…"

He continued: "But if I don't stop him here… none of us will live to mourn the dead."

Drogath walks from the flames, half his body burned.

Astor grips Lily's sword again. His voice cracks—but doesn't break.

"I will surely send you to hell in this one."

Drogath towers in the smoke — half his body charred black, horns cracked, eyes blazing with curse-fire.

The cursed warlord slams his axe into the earth, cracking it open.

Astor's voice is calm. Measured. Deadly.

"I have already killed your leader— Malakar Veilgrave. You just happened to be his general."

Drogath charges. Axe raised. Screaming murder.

Astor doesn't flinch.

Drogath swings— A hurricane of force—

But Astor vanishes in a flash of speed. He reappears behind Drogath— Blade slashes once. Fast. Clean.

Blood bursts from Drogath's back. He roars, spinning with a backhand, but Astor ducks low—

"You may be strong," Astor says. "But not like him."

He drives his fist into Drogath's gut, sending the beast stumbling.

Drogath howls, raises a wall of cursed stone—

Astor shatters it with one blow.

"You're not even close to Malakar."

Drogath leaps—spins in the air comes down like a comet with his axe.

Astor meets it with Lily's sword. The impact cracks the ground, sends shockwaves across the forest.

But this time… Astor's eyes ignite brighter, not just red… but glowing crimson-gold now.

"My life was curse… There was someone precious to me and you people took her from me."

"You have ruined my life and now I will ruin your."

Drogath roars, a final curse magic swirling around his axe—

"DIEEEEEEEE!!!"

Astor lifts his hand—

"Crimson Art: Divine Light."

A vertical line of pure energy erupts from the sky, slamming into Drogath's body— It splits the ground, and pins him down.

Astor sprint like light and then jumped and drives Lily's blade into Drogath's throat. Then pulled the sword with his head off.

Blood gushes and Cursed energy explodes—

Drogath's body collapses. Twitches. Then goes still.

But Astor stands in the center of it, unwavering.

The battlefield is silent now.

Cursed corpses smolder in piles. The few remaining allied fighters stare in awe. Sofia drops her weapon. Lily falls to her knees.

Astor stands alone in the clearing, covered in ash and blood, Lily's sword still in his hand.

"It's done…" he whispers.

He doesn't smile. There's no triumph in his eyes. Just the weight of what it cost.

The crowd erupted in cheers. The battlefield, scarred and stained, echoed with the voices of the victorious. Swords were raised. Names were shouted. The cursed were gone. The terror had ended..

But Astor didn't move. He stood alone at the center of it all, head bowed, hands trembling.

His eyes, lost in a war deeper than any they'd seen.

"Starmon…"

His voice barely left his throat.

"I did what you said. I protected them. I ended it. But… I'm sorry. I couldn't save you."

"You had to suffer… for me. And I— I let you."

He clenched his fists.

Then suddenly, a soft chime echoed inside his mind—like a distant bell ringing in the void.

"Communication Skill: Unlocked."

His eyes snapped open.

He wasn't on the battlefield anymore. The world around him was pure black—no ground, no stars, no sky. Just emptiness. Except…

A single figure stood ahead, calm and familiar. Starmon.

Astor froze, breath caught in his throat.

Is it a memory? A hallucination?

"You're not dreaming, Maybe now we can talk" Starmon said gently, stepping forward. "You're have finally completed the trial."

Astor was surprised "Trial? What do you mean?"

Astor stepped closer, disbelief in his voice.

"I thought you were sealed off… banned from returning."

Starmon shook his head.

"No. This was never punishment. It was your trial to see if you could learn… to fix what you broke. You had to choose—regret or redemption."

Astor stared, his throat tightening. Then—without another word—they embraced.

Two halves. One soul. Wounds between them, finally healing. Starmon smiled.

"It's time. Let's go back now. They must be waiting for us"

And then, just like that, the void faded.

Astor's eyes fluttered open. Everyone was staring at him—confused, cautious.

He hadn't moved since the fight ended. But now, slowly… He turned. His eyes glowed soft blue.

Sofia gasped. Mark and Elisa ran forward.

"Starmon...?"

He nodded. A quiet smile. No words—just open arms.

They pulled him in, hugging him tight. For a moment, everything was okay again.

But nearby—Lily, Liliana, and Sylphie stood back, their faces shadowed with sorrow.

"Astor was gone again."

Then, suddenly—Starmon turned back and smiled.

"There is a surprise for all of you!"

A flicker and then his Eyes turned red.

Astor grinned wide.

"Surprise. Won't you welcome me back?"

The three girls didn't hesitate.

Sylphie let out a squeal and sprinted in. Lily laughed through tears. Liliana—still in beast form—grabbed Astor like a ragdoll.

"AH—hey—WAIT—" he yelped, caught in a bone-crushing hug.

"Someone tell this beast to chill before I lose a rib!"

Everyone burst out laughing. Even Sofia.

She approached slowly, shame in her steps. "I… I caused you so much pain. I blamed you. And yet, you… you still saved us all." "Thank you, Astor."

He tilted his head. Eyes glinting.

"No need for apologization"

She rolled her eyes and stepped aside as the group fell silent.

Astor walked forward, dust settling beneath his boots.

"Listen…"

He lowered his head, Face serious and Voice cold.

"I know I did horrible things. Things you'll never forget. If you believe I'm beyond forgiveness…"

He looked at each of them. Then smirked.

"Then go ahead. Do what you can…"

He cracked his neck.

"…because Astor doesn't apologize."

And with a wicked grin, he burst into laughter— "Hehe… Hahahaha!"

It echoed across the battlefield like thunder.

A cough, a stumble. All eyes turned—Morpheous, injured and leaning on broken staff, limped from the treeline. His stomach was bleeding badly, his robes torn and burnt.

"I knew it…" he coughed. "I knew you could do it…"

Astor turned, raising an eyebrow.

"What look are you in now, wizard? You trying out zombie chic?"

Morpheous winced, smirking.

"It's thanks to you… for leaving us and being fashionably late."

Astor shrugged.

"You dying or just putting on a show?"

Morpheous grunted.

"It would a pain for everyone to get rid of me"

"And I don't plan to die because I'm still single"

They both laughed. The sky had begun to clear.

Smoke curled lazily from the sky. The earth was cracked and scarred, soaked in both blood and magic. But for the first time in what felt like forever, the winds carried no fear—only the scent of rain and rebirth.

Astor stood still, his cloak fluttering behind him, half-torn and scorched.

From a side, a noble figure approached—wounded but proud. King Albert Arc, his silver armor tarnished, yet his spirit unbroken.

He stopped before Astor, placing a hand on his hand.

"You saved us all, Sir Starmon" Albert said, voice deep with gratitude. "You saved my people… and me, twice. For that, I owe you more than words."

Astor didn't speak at first. He just looked at the man—this king who'd lost soldiers, friends, and nearly everything. Then he gave a small nod.

"Just don't let their deaths be in vain."

Albert bowed his head, chest heavy with both grief and resolve.

Behind them, the remaining Aetherians gathered.

The cursed were gone. Malakar Veilgrave was killed. Gorath was slained. Drogath had fallen. And the darkness…had lifted.

One soldier stepped forward, flanked by a few surviving warriors.

"Chief Mark…" the voice called.

Mark stood upright, his armor battered, his blade still stained with the final blow he'd delivered. He turned to them slowly.

"Now that the battle is over… what should we do?"

There was silence. The wind shifted.

Mark looked toward the mountains—toward the burned home they all mourned. Then he raised his voice for all to hear.

"Now the darkness no longer rules over us. We will live not in fear—but with will. We will rebuild Aetherium from its ruins… and become stronger than ever. So that no tyrant… no cursed flame… will ever touch us again!"

The crowd erupted in cheers, defiant and joyous. Even the wounded raised their fists .Even the grieving wept with pride.

Astor stepped forward beside him.

His voice was calm. Clear. Echoing across the broken battlefield.

"My life… was a storm of pain. A cycle of curses and guilt. I walked through blood, lost people I loved, and became something I feared."

He looked at his hands—scars old and new lining his fingers. Then he raised his head to the rising sun.

"But today… I've been given a second chance."

He turned toward the people. Toward his friends. Toward the future.

"So let's do it together. Let's Restart."

Then— everyone:

"LONG LIVE CHIEF MARK!"

"LONG LIVE KING ALBERT ARC!"

"LONG LIVE HERO YT!"

They roared their names..

Five Months Later

Birds chirped. Sunlight filtered through the leaves. The air was warm, the sky clear, and laughter danced across the gentle breeze.

Aetherium was whole again. Its majestic towers restored, homes rebuilt stone by stone by the hands of those who refused to surrender to fate. Children played. Flags waved. Smiles returned.

Moonveil too, stood tall once more, its walls stronger, its people united—no longer a kingdom divided by fear but allied in hope.

In a lush green forest just beyond the valley in Aetherium, the familiar group strolled together:

Mark, Elisa, Sofia, Liliana, Lily, Sylphie, Morpheous, and Starmon/Astor—a crew bound not just by war, but by destiny. They talked. Laughed. Teased. Like normal people. Like they deserved to be.

Elisa stretched and suddenly clapped her hands.

"Let's have a competition" she grinned. "Whoever catches the armored bear first wins!"

"Count me in" Liliana smirked, tail flicking.

"It would be dangerous to split up" Sofia said.

"Mmm… Not problem from me but be careful," Lily said gently, already stepping barefoot onto the moss.

Sylphie's eyes gleamed with silent determination.

Starmon said worried.

"Sofia is right, Its not right to split up. Armored bear is too powerful."

Mark raised a brow.

"Oh yeah please don't do it. You know if something happened to anyone what will happen?"

Then he chuckled. Mark spread his arms wide, voice exaggerated—

"'I, Astor, with all my authority… SET STARMON FREE!'"

He laughed.

"'What a dramatic clown move that was!'"

Silence.

He opened his eyes. Everyone stared at him—deadpan.

Starmon's eyes were glowing red.

Mark slowly backed up.

"Uhh… guys? I was joking—HELLO?!"

(Quick Cut: Mark tied to a tree)

"I SAID I'M SORRY! GUYS?! PLEASE?!"

The rest walked on casually, joking and laughing as if nothing had happened.

Everyone scattered into the woods, chasing shadows, giggling through the leaves.

The forest was alive again.

Minutes passed. Starmon wandered deeper into the trees… when suddenly— A strange humming filled the air. The wind shifted.

Up in the sky, a glowing portal opened—crackling like a wound in reality. And then—someone fell. A figure dropped through the rift, crashing into the earth a few meters away.

"What… was that?" Starmon muttered.

Astor's voice echoed in his mind.

"I don't know but maybe kind of portal. Go and check."

Starmon nodded and ran toward the impact site. There, among scattered leaves and crushed earth— A young man, his long white hair stained with blood, a demon-forged sword beside him. He wore a blue long coat, its royal fabric torn and smoking.

He writhed on the ground, gripping his chest.

"Why… why did you do this, Queen…? I swore to protect you… Why didn't you let me die there? Please… someone… help me…"

Starmon's breath caught in his throat. He turned inward.

"He's asking for help, Astor. We have to."

Astor warned Starmon.

"Something's not right about him… be careful"

Starmon stepped forward and knelt, offering a hand.

"Can I help?"

The boy's hand trembled. He turned his head and looked into Starmon's kind blue eyes.

The moment froze. A breeze blew through and Starmon smiled gentlely.

The screen faded to black.
