"How have you been, Aeri?" Sonny asked, placing his tea cup gently on the wooden table. His movements were calm and polite, but that same soft smile stayed on his face the whole time.
"I am good, Sonny. Thanks for asking," Aeri replied with a sweating smile. She quickly took a sip of her tea, as if she needed a second to steady herself, then continued, "And how have you been since then?"
"I am also doing good, and as you can see, now I have a girlfriend," Sonny said. He reached over, grabbed Yor's shoulder, and playfully jerked her body a little in a teasing way. Yor giggled and leaned closer to him.
"Hehe, I am happy for you," Aeri said with a smile and a quick blink. Then she gulped softly. I noticed it clearly. It looked like she was feeling uncomfortable, even though she tried to hide it.
